“I had one of the most outstanding and unexpected conversations with the deeply erudite owner of this institution. This man is the Treasury of Newport and the northeast's knowledge and evidences of American genius. One moment you're walking down the street and the next you're looking at some of the finest pieces of American art for sale.”
“I recently went to an estate sale that Lemay hosted. She was professional and friendly, I found some treasures. I hope to find another estate sale hosted by Lemay and co.”

“This is a great store in Newport for one-of-a-kind gifts (truly unique!) especially for people that are impossible to buy for! I come here first - highly recommended. : )”
“Stopped into this store as it was right next store to the bed and breakfast we stayed in-and the owner was so friendly! Ended up buying super cute earrings made by a member of the owners family. Lots of cool vintage things to check out.”
“Bought a 580lb fountain. Shipped to Illinois. Very fair price and they built a solid shipping crate. Just received and it’s in the same shape we last saw in store. Place does good work. Thank you!”
“A visit to Anne Hall antique prints Is like walking into Wonderland. I found all sorts of original prints in excellent condition. My favorites were the bird prints & maps, especially the hand colored ones. They always seem to have what I’m looking for, since they are the premier print seller in the nation.”
“*September 2025 update. I contacted Newport Scrimshanders again for another custom ring. Mr. Kiracofe's scrimshaw skills are simply a treasure. I presented him with an idea and he brought it to be. Incredibly satisfied with him and the business. If I could give another 5x stars I would, so I suppose that makes it 10x now.
I contacted Newport Scrimshanders about a custom ring. Mr. Kiracofe responded within 24 hours, I easily placed my order over the phone the following day with the store, and just received the ring (beautiful green clover men's ring). Reasonable price, excellent customer service, and overall stellar experience.”
“I had an amazing experience with the owner. She was so kind. I got a permanent bracelet and it came out amazing. The pricing is so good too. I would 100 percent come back.”
“A truly amazing shop. It has more beautiful artifacts than most museums. The proprietors are knowledgeable and friendly. We really enjoyed our visit to the Drawing Room.”

“Beautiful curation of treasures, large and small. I've purchased a number of decor items over the years, and just recently purchased a larger table. The team was delightful -- they shared in my excitement and even offered delivery and installation. Cannot recommend this shop enough.”
