Fort Adams Trust offers a great and highly recommended tour of the historic fort, described as a badass and amazing slice of history. The tour is fun, informative, and provides an awesome look into little-known historical details, with cool interior tunnels to see. Tour guides are consistently noted as extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and fabulous, enhancing the experience even on a rainy day. The site offers historical facts and nice views. While it can get chaotic and crowded during special events, it remains a very convenient and quick visit for those in Newport.

Did an awesome tour or Fort Adam’s Newport RI Guide was extremely knowledgeable and the fort is “badass”! The thought skill technique design and manpower that went into it is amazing. Toured numerous forts and this is the top one to date. 👍
