“What a great store! We got lost in here for over an hour and left with alot more than intended! The book selection is so entertaining to peruse but the stacks of prints/maps/etc throughout had my full attention! I'll be back in the store prepared to spend money this time the next time we're in Newport visiting her family!”
“The selection of books is diverse. The quality of the used books I saw was quite impressive - I purchased a 60 year old textbook that looks almost pristine. There's also a display of merch from the Unemployed Philosopher's Guild, which instantly adds tremendous appeal. The prices are competitive- we spent less than $7 and came away with two books and a really cute set of fridge magnets. The store itself is bright, well laid out, and tidy. The staff are friendly and professional - they're made sure we were attended to without being overly present, and they offered to special order something we couldn't find.My favorite part of the experience, however, was Fred. We love Fred. Please say hi to him for us.”
“A perfect shop to visit for Catholic and Christian gifts, books, rosaries, statues, and jewelry. Volunteer operated and all profits go to the St Vincent de Paul Society which serves the poor and the elderly.”
“Welcoming and friendly. They also make it very easy to order books they might not have in stock. I have ordered special orders in person, on the web site or by phone.”
“Awesome but make sure you allow for plenty of time because making decisions in here is difficult and the checkout process is a little slower than normal. No big deal Just know to leave time and don't cut it close to something else you need to be at.”
“This store is amazing. If you need or want a bible or anything related, this is the best place to get it. They have a wide range of Christian material. They offer help when you need it. And give you space when you need it. I traveled from Pawtucket just to go here. And I will be back. This place is great. And the people who work here are amazing.”
