“The selection of books is diverse. The quality of the used books I saw was quite impressive - I purchased a 60 year old textbook that looks almost pristine. There's also a display of merch from the Unemployed Philosopher's Guild, which instantly adds tremendous appeal. The prices are competitive- we spent less than $7 and came away with two books and a really cute set of fridge magnets. The store itself is bright, well laid out, and tidy. The staff are friendly and professional - they're made sure we were attended to without being overly present, and they offered to special order something we couldn't find.My favorite part of the experience, however, was Fred. We love Fred. Please say hi to him for us.”
“A teeny tiny bookstore catering to H.P. Lovecraft, mysticism, and the occult, with some horror and rpgs thrown in. I was looking for more used books or branded merch, but I did purchase some stickers and a couple of postcards. It's a cool stop if you're in the area but your visit will be short.”
“Love this spot! A great selection of books, including a section devoted to literature and nonfiction centering Palestine. Friendly staff, interesting speakers (including Hala Alyan and Susan Muaddi Darraj), and the ability to enjoy a good beverage. True movement partners, and well worth a visit.”
“A wonderful bookstore with a unique atmosphere and an impressive selection of books. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to help with recommendations. I enjoyed browsing through the shelves and discovering titles I would not have found elsewhere. A great place to spend an afternoon if you love books. Highly recommended!”
“I really enjoy these vendors! Everyone is always very nice and there is a wonderful variety of vendors!! In addition the Waterfire Arts Center is a beautiful venue to hold such events!!”
“What a brilliant surprise to walk into this shop, the salesperson found exactly what I was looking for, but I take in the heart the wonderful warmth of the 2 people I met there! Thank you!”
“Great seasonal sales, large selection. This is a great place to spend an afternoon, there is a cafe, kids, area and gift section in addition to the incredible selection of books!”
“I was lucky enough to come across this store during my daughter’s Birthday weekend. A true GEM! 💎 Everything inside has been acquired & orchestrated with care & passion. A delight for the eyes, mind & spirit. The staff & owner were lovely & helpful. I can’t wait to go back. Well worth a travel to go see & I’ll be visiting from an hour & a half away. Thank you!”
“Customer service staff extraordinarily helpful. Despite issues with online site Staff expedited order. Very kind voices on phone that let me know they understood issue and were willing to do what I wanted. I wish all customer service were like Brown University bookstore staff!!”
“A perfect shop to visit for Catholic and Christian gifts, books, rosaries, statues, and jewelry. Volunteer operated and all profits go to the St Vincent de Paul Society which serves the poor and the elderly.”

“It was cool. The tarot card reader was okay, nice lady, and she said a few interesting things. I think the reading was pretty good and mostly entertaining. I bought a few gemstones while I was at the shop. They had a pretty good selection, display items and jewelry too. I recommend supporting the business. Give them a try.”
“Thank you for steaming the mass each Sunday. As we all shelter in place, it has been a wonderful and essential part of our daily prayer and Sunday spiritual communion.”
“Super cute little romance bookstore! They had a ton of different sub-genre options, even a closed door section which is nice for those who don’t like explicit scenes. Various other items for sale like stickers, sweatshirts, tote bags, bookmarks, and greeting cards. Street parking can be tricky but we found a spot easily. Can’t wait to visit again!”
“Can't thank the staff here enough! During my two years of being a student here, I know I can always come hear if I have questions about anything needed for my classes. Michaelle is soo knowledgable she even gives you deets on which classes actually use the books. And Orlando is always at the front, rain or shine, busting through orders, no brakes on this guy. They even price match other US based booksellers!”
“Heaven for artists. Everything you need to buy for your project except creativity. Huge paper section. (I bought some Italian paper/prints of flowers, mushrooms, birds, etc for about $6 each that I plan to frame.) They have a huge selection of journals, too. Michaels is a consumerist joke compared to this store. Honestly, you could spend two hours here, salivating.”
“This store has pretty much everything you want for art supplies from brushes to oil to watercolors to markers and pencils. I have been there a few times to get supplies for my painting hobby that I need to be more focused on.. It's walking distance from the condo, so no parking issues for me. The staff working here is efficient and friendly.”
“This is our go-to place to shop for gifts for our Youth Group students. They have a wide variety of options, more novelties and gift items than you could ever imagine and they still even have a CD section. The staff is incredible, most notably Arianna and Corey, who take great care of the store.”
