It's a bit messy and disorganized but has surprisingly everything if you do some digging! I found the 1-1/2 to 3/4 galvanized pipe bushing that Lowe's does not stock and Home Depot only carries at their larger locations like Warwick!
This place is a raw gem!”
“In a day and age where most people think ordering online is easier, if they shoped here , they'd realize the error in their ways. Durfees has practically everything you need at competitive prices with a helpful and friendly staff. Being able to shop in person and get what you need immediately has great value and here , you don't have to wander the aisles for 15 minutes looking for an employee to help point you in the right direction.”

“Great place to get lawn and garden supplies. I was able to find a wheelbarrow at a great price that they assembled for me and then I found the Jonathan Green grass seed that I needed which was a newer date than other stores and it was less expensive. GREAT customer service!”
“So I visited Ace last week when my son’s monster truck broke. Just needed a screw. Me an associate named Luke and he promptly took the truck and spent 20 minutes finding the right screw. The thread were stripped but he glued the pieces so the screw wouldn’t pop out. My son was overly happy he got his monster truck back. It’s service like this that makes people come back!

I shop in the store ever other week or so for items big (gas grills - they deliver ), replacement screens for the windows (professional job), bird food, potting soil, grass seed and the many small items that are always just what I need. When a contractor was doing some plumbing work in our home he needed a special valve and was as stunned to find the valve he needed at the Ace Hardware Cumberland. Evidently many other homes in the area were built with the same unusual design so the owners of the Ace Hardware stocked it. The previous owners provided excellent service and the new owners are wonderful as well. We need this business in our community. Stop in to Ace Hardware 1st before looking elsewhere, they probably have just what you need.”

“I like Harbor Freight Tools because of their selection and prices. Normally I would give this store 5 stars, but on this particular visit, I spent a lot of time in misdirection! Two different employees gave me two different answers as to where the tool that i wanted, was located. Both of them were wrong. But as I was leaving, a third employee asked if he could help me and I told him that the store was obviously out of the hand-held propane heater I needed, so no thank you. Incredibly, he went straight to the location and handed me the heater!! As more employees are better trained, my score will improve back to 5 stars. I will certainly continue to shop at Harbor Freight Tools.”

“On February 3, 2023, Friday evening, which was the coldest night of the year (-9 Degrees Fahrenheit) I had a major plumbing problem. After taking my shower and turning off the Symmons Temptrol control valve, hot water kept running (not dripping) and I had no shut-off valves in proximity to the shower to stop the hot water back flow. Back in 2010 I purchased a high efficiency boiler from Bruce at Ardente Supply Co. which has an indirect hot water tank associated with the boiler. I was fearful to shut down the boiler while attempting to fix the problem since the boiler provides both space heat and domestic hot water. The next day, February 4, 2023, Saturday, the overnight temperature was the second coldest night of the year (-2 Degrees Fahrenheit) and I still could not do anything to stop the hot water siphoning from the boiler. After two days of record setting temperatures and another day, Sunday, that the problem could not be addressed, I decided to call Bruce at Ardente supply on Monday. Bruce has helped me over the years addressing both electrical and plumbing problems with my boiler and supplying various plumbing parts for a number of home remodeling jobs. After discussing my siphoning problem with Bruce, he told me what I needed to do to secure boiler operation and how to rebuild my Symmons Temptrol shower valve. I do not know what I would have done if Bruce did not come to the rescue. Bruce, your expertise in HVAC is truly exceptional and I feel that my experience might help someone in the community with a similar or any heating/plumbing problem. Bruce, kudos to you... Rick P.”
“My work truck had issues with the plow hydraulics after the last storm. Vinny and his crew were able to get it in fast and get it finished even faster. I had it back within a day with new hoses. All of the people I dealt with were personable and had good spirits to them. They kept me updated on the progress and called to ask before doing any work they found on the plow. Would definitely recommend this shop and I'm glad my company chose them to work with.”

This review is to let folks know that Lowe's does have some good stores and even better associates. The store itself is quite organized and easy to navigate. Associates help regardless of their assigned areas. The added benefit of my experience with George and Fernando is further proof that this store puts a lot of effort into customer satisfaction. After my washer/dryer combo died, I was given a Lowe's e-voucher to purchase a replacement by my homeowner's warranty company. “Great company. Family run for many generations. Went there recently and got a tour. I now know what makes them so successful. I talked to their employees. Most have been there between 20 and 45 years. All of them are proud of their work. To keep employees that long it shows that the company cares about them. Everything made in shop and all hand inspected before it goes out the door. Not many places anymore that care that much about quality. They still do and I was amazed. Check them out. “After shopping around for kitchen cabinets, we found that Home Outlet in Warwick, RI was 1/3 of the price that other places were charging for the same thing. I walked in with my kitchen/pantry measurements and received a free design from Chris with no appointment necessary. I’m very picky and he sat with me for almost 2 hours with a smile on his face making sure the kitchen layout was designed to my liking. It was so cool seeing him design my kitchen on the big screen right behind him so that I was able to really visualize everything. The store manager, David, was a pleasure to work with and he was always available to answer any questions or concerns that came up right away. This was one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had in my life. We just completed a full renovation on our 70-year old home and working with Home Outlet was one of the few positive experiences we’ve had throughout the process and it was actually my favorite part! I love my kitchen…Thank you guys so much!”

“staff helpfull - I was buying floor polish for hardwood floor and compared the price to Home Depot - they were the same price. The times I have gone there I have always found what I needed. Tip, IDK if they still have scratch and dent items like refrigerators but I know someone who was not aware of it and bought a refrigerator at a phenomenal price. It actually was in pretty good shape so if you need a second hand item for basement, garage etc. ASK!”
