“Even after moving away from South County, we still take all our kitties here. Everyone we have seen has been so kind and they genuinely care as much as we do about our pets.”

“Had to find a new vet with moving back to the northeast with my dog Kilo. Being that he was an abused rescue, I’m picky with who I take him to just because of his trust issues. I could not have been more happy With Wood River animal Hospital, and how kind and patient they were, Kate Was great and our doctor was communicative and patient with my dog. They were recommended by my dad and I’d recommend them to anyone else for their dogs or pets. Thank you guys for making Kilo and I feel comfortable and welcomed!”

“Fantastic experience with Big River. Dr. Cardosa and his staff are amazing. Everyone there is so patient, kind, and helpful. My pup had TPLO surgery a few months ago and I couldn’t be happier with the care received and the outcome. They made the process as stress free as can be and were always there to answer questions. Highly recommend if you’re in the RI area and need veterinary care. Best practice around in my opinion.”

“Had a canine emergency. Dr Dunn stayed late and saw me that morning. He is extremely competent and a nice person. The cost for the service was very fair Highly recommend.”

“For over 20 years combined, this incredible vet took care of my dogs while I lived in Rhode Island. I absolutely love Dr. Hassinger’s holistic approach, which is entirely proactive rather than reactive. Instead of jumping to writing prescriptions, she focuses on true well-being, using medication only when absolutely necessary. One of her most important tenets is foundational health, starting with the vital question: What is the dog eating? Her dedication to nutrition and preventative wellness kept my dogs thriving, and I cannot recommend her highly enough.”

“I can't say enough good things about Wolf Rock Animal Health and Dr. Hassinger. What stands out most to me is how gentle and genuinely caring Dr. Hassinger is. Every visit feels thoughtful and unhurried, and my pets are always treated with real compassion. The entire team is wonderful... the atmosphere is calm, welcoming, and supportive. I’m truly grateful to have found a place that provides this level of care. Highly recommend.”

“They were able to get is in right away when our new puppy had diarrhea, when our old vet had a month wait and a crazy lottery system for same day sick appointments. We are so happy we switched! Everyone is kind and patient, and it never feels like they are rushing you out the door to get to the next appointment. They take the time to answer questions and chat about your pet. I highly recommend Atlantic animal hospital!”
