“Liquor Mart has quickly become my go-to spot. Solid selection and the prices are actually reasonable. The staff knows their stuff and gave me a great whiskey recommendation I never would’ve picked myself. It’s not super fancy, but that’s part of the charm, it feels local and chill. They’re also surprisingly well-stocked with craft beers and some cool limited releases. Honestly, it’s just a reliable place that doesn’t overcomplicate things.”

“Washington Hill Liquors is the best liquor store in town bar-none! I always make the trip to Washington Hill even when I only need cigarettes! I would much rather support a small business like this versus a big name store or gas station any day! Jeff and his well mannered, helpful employees keep the place clean and fully stocked. Great beer selection! I’ve asked many questions about new craft beers I haven’t heard of and Jeff is always familiar with what he stocks his store with so I’m always trying new brews with confidence. The store hours make sense and fit even the craziest schedule. I’ve been a customer here since I turned 21 and I’ll be a customer till the very end.”

What an extra nice surprise that the owner was a pleasant Irish gentleman who helped me find everything I needed. It's a pocket-sized packy but has all of the basic essentials, including Guinness of course. Go raibh maith agat!”

HSL (shout out to Colleen) responded immediately to my requests, kept on the issues of locating the one beer type and helping choose how much beer -- how many kegs of what sizes -- and the party got just what we needed. Pick-up of two sixtels was smooth, as the folks in the shop did the heavy lifting and were extremely friendly. thanks.”
