“Different than what it used to be but still great. Now it’s much bigger and more room to shop! Great new upgrade is the self-checkout(which o personally love). I miss the old layout which felt “homier” but the new layout is labeled, which I guess does make it easier for new people that never been to an Aldi’s before.”

“The meats are presented very well. Was a big fan of Shore's all white meat chicken salad but it has changed. It's very dry. Won't be buying it unless the original recipe is used.”

“Ever since I started doing groceries here a year ago I don’t go anywhere else. If I spend $100 here it would probably be double the price at the other grocery stores. Aldis prices are unbeatable!”

“I always shop Aldi for their prices and organic food selection. I go after work when it’s pretty slow and just loop through and get all my basics but always find some fun new things to try!”

“We stopped here for groceries after enjoying dinner at Bettola down the street. I generally like shopping at Dave's but find it a little pricier than Trader Joe's or Market Basket but still better than Whole Foods. They did have some nice specials when we visited Including $1 polar seltzers and 2 for $5 shredded cheeses. Really nice selection of cheeses. Lot parking and quick check out. You may want to bring your own bags because they provide just very basic brown bags with no handles similar to what you get at Market Basket”

“Best place to buy grapes in the Providence metro area - they get crunchy delicious grapes here, no one else comes close. During the egg shortage, they had the cheapest eggs I ever saw or heard of, anywhere. Prices are generally competitive but it's the specialty stuff that sets this place apart. Great fish selection (and they will cut, descale, debone to your specification) and they have great Portugese and Spanish groceries. They are a great neighborhood grocery store.”

“Stumbled on this local gem during a visit, love the selection and value of the butcher shop as well as the hot foods, makes me wish I live here and can come all the time! This place was packed with locals getting hot food for lunch as well as stocking up on large order of meats from the butchers days before Christmas. I was full from lunch, but the hot foods looked so fresh and delicious! Visiting from California, the price and selection of meats had me literally drooling! My very first time seeing the giant beef feet and whole oxtails!”

“Freshly baked bread! I finally found the right Compare Market. I hate going to Broad St in Providence where Compare Market (now it's called America's Food Basket) use to be.”

“The Dominican food that’s available for take out- yeah you can’t beat the prices! Best part is the food is delicious! The rotisserie chicken, come on… can’t even compare it to the typical markets, it’s DELICIOUS, FLAVORFUL, FINGER LICKING, bone-sucking GOOD. There’s a huge variety of take out food. At least 8 choices of meats, chicken, beef, pork, goat, oxtail, ribs, pork shoulder, chicharron. The market has Caribbean/Latin music playing and a ton of Latino foods. I love taking my kids here, it’s a cultural experience (it’s not just food shopping).”

“Prices are alright and it's stocked. They didn't have the one thing I was looking for (the choceur dark hazelnut crisp) but it's become rare over the years so I understand.”

“It's clean and very spacious~ the store has expanded over the years, and there's always something new on some sections. It's your one store, that has everything you need to complete an Asian dish with authentic ingredients and hard to find items. Just like all other stores, they don't give bags, so prepare your reusable bags of you plan to shop for many items.”

“Title: A Spanish Delight to Savor!Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Oh, let me tell you about this hidden gem of a Dominican deli! The moment I walked through the door, I was met with the most welcoming smiles and the aroma of heavenly Spanish cuisine. The menu was a tantalizing array of traditional dishes that instantly transported me to the streets of Spain.Every bite was a symphony of flavors, like a savory paella that made my taste buds sing, succulent roasted pork that melted in my mouth, and empanadas bursting with deliciousness. You could taste the love and passion in every ingredient they used, bringing an authentic Spanish experience to life. But it wasn't just the food that stole my heart; it was the warmth and genuine care of the staff. They treated me like family, sharing their knowledge and recommendations with enthusiasm. It felt like stepping into a cozy, inviting space that embraced Spanish culture with open arms.If you're a Spanish cuisine aficionado or simply looking for a memorable culinary adventure, don't miss out on this delightful Dominican deli. Prepare yourself for an unforgettable journey through the flavors and hospitality that will leave you craving more.A heartfelt gracias to the entire team for creating such a wonderful dining experience. It's a place where Spanish dreams come true!”

“This is a fairly new grocery store on Reservoir Ave in Cranston. It's located where the old Save a Lot grocery store used to be, in the same shopping center as the Four Seasons Pan Asian restaurant. The store has been remodeled, so it looks very clean, nice, neat and organized...as you walk in the produce section is right in front of you and to the right....the meat department is all the way in the back and the rest of the grocery items make up the rest of the footprint of the store. They sell some ethnic produce that cater the Hispanic and Asian communities in the area. I found their produce very well priced and of good quality...I got some bananas for $0.49/lb. They do publish a weekly flyer with specials, so that is the best way to find the best deals....America's Food Basket stores are members of America's Food Basket LLC, a Cooperative of independent grocers located in New York, Georgia, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. At its inception in 2007, the cooperative started with just three stores and has now grown to 70 stores under the banners of Ideal Food Basket & America's Food Basket.”

“I ordered because in store prices on instacart instead of marked up like other stores. I literally live across the street from a grocery store but I'm so lazy I instacart groceries from Pawtucket to Massachusetts. I haven't actually been there or even heard of it before instacart but I'm leaving this review because one of the reviewers, Beverly! She said this grocery store helped her when she was depressed so apparently it is a therapeutic experience if you suffer from depression. I'm glad Beverly is doing better! Judging by her reviews she has been on a journey of self healing. Go Bev! You got this girl! We all have dark times.”

“Shopping has become such a burden amidst the pandemic between inflation and traffic in my area. I stopped into Seabra (Formally Hi-Lo/Almacs) on a whim and ended up being one of the more enjoyable shopping experiences that I've had in a long time. The store is nestled into the back roads of Attleboro, in a plaza that seems frozen in the 1990s. They have ample parking and the store is also accessible by foot which is a nice feature for local residents. It's not as fancy as other nearby markets but it's clean, well lit, and organized. The prices were comparable to competitors, in fact I ended up saving $30 on the entire shopping trip. This particular location also had a wine & spirits section so you can literally do one stop shopping and avoid multiple trips. Lastly, every employee I encountered was pleasant and prompt. The other customers were also friendly and polite to each other. I'm really glad I stopped in and I'm looking forward to utilizing them more frequently.”

“This place is great! Especially for those looking to dabble in latin cuisine. As a Latina I'm learning my family's recipes so I come here to get some ingredients. All the employees are also super nice. I gave it 4 stars only since they don't have any organic produce and their 24 pack of spring water is $1 more then what Walmart and Target charges for a 30 pack.”

“America's Food Basket stores are part of a Cooperative of independent grocers located in New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania & Florida. At its inception in 2007, the cooperative started with just three supermarkets and has now grown to 60 stores under the banners of Ideal Food Basket & America's Food Basket. After more than 15 years in business, their focus remains on serving customers. This store on Broad street has a strong Latin American focus. A lot of the workers only speak Spanish and many of the signs are also in Spanish. I get their weekly circular and many times, I find great deals. Sometimes Chicken for 99 cents a pound, tomatoes for 69 cents a pound, and much more...... Their produce is not bad but their meats are just OK. I like their large selection of ethnic goods. Large parking lot.”
