“They guys at Kingston Turf absolutely transformed our backyard and were a pleasure to work with. As a new homeowner, I started with a yard that was full of crabgrass and weeds and after a bit of research I knew that the only approach was to nuke it with Roundup and seed or rip it up and lay down sod. Although the sod route was a greater financial investment, I'm glad I took it because 1) it's less harmful to the environment and 2) we can enjoy our backyard sooner than a season of growing. The process of working with Kingston Turf was similar to working with any contractor — they send out an estimator and work up a quote then you'll agree on a cost and approve for work to begin. The estimation process from initial phone call to quote took a couple of weeks. During that time we discussed the layout of my yard, how much shade it received during the year, and how there's French drain that I wanted to ensure the lawn was properly leveled for effective drainage. The foreman and worker were able to perform the install within a day. I was impressed with how much care they took with the soil prep, sod placement and edging. Afterwards, I received a guide for proper maintenance for the weeks following initial install.Sod installation for the home was a big investment for us. If I were to do it over again, I'd happily work with Kingston Turf”

“John and Chelsea in the Garden Department deserve recognition. Over the phone, John assured me that they had what I needed. In the store, both employees helped me find exactly the product I needed and were friendly about doing so. On the other hand, an employee named Missy (got her voicemail) needs to re-think her vm message, like changing it from "I'll get back to you at my earliest convenience" to something more customer-friendly such as "I'll get back to you as soon as I can." Big difference in just a few words.”
“Big store, not crowded on a weekday. I spoke with multiple staff members to find various items and everyone was helpful. Had to use self checkout as there was only one live check out person working.”
“This is a large, clean, spacious Home Depot. We stopped there to get a shower head and they had a good selection of them. The store is so big and there are so many customers and few staff that it really is a self service store. They still have their nursery section open so you can get some colder temperature plants for indoors (mostly).Nice large parking lot.”
