GameStop is a big name video game store with a minimum selection. The place never seems to know who they are marketing to, with stores looking like a big mess. Customers hope to find what they are looking for but rarely do. However, the team members are consistently friendly, nice, and cool, offering help with finding games and consoles without attitude, even for difficult questions. An employee helped find a last minute Christmas gift while being very busy. The manager was great, providing help and information on new console stock. As a corporate entity, GameStop receives criticism for forcing artificial bundles on popular consoles like the PlayStation 5, making customers pay more for items that are the same price or more expensive bought separately. This is seen as a way to profit off limited stock. Despite this, the store has a great variety of video games, including discounted ones, plus Funko pops and other fun goodies. It is a great place to check out for gamers, and gift cards are a great idea for kids of all ages.
Armando helped me out today and always helps me out. He’s patient with my questions about deals and promotions going on. Friendly great customer service. It’s like night and day going here versus other GameStop where the customer service is not as good. Thanks bro
