Moving back to RI, we needed a good mechanic, and after some searching, we were pointed toward Shane’s Auto Truck & Performance. Shane came highly recommended, and from the start, he showed real knowledge and skill in his work.
Before finding Shane, we had taken our car to Slater’s Auto Repair, but unfortunately, that experience was disappointing. After that, we were relieved to find someone like Shane, who seemed more reliable and professional.
While we did run into some unexpected issues with our car later on, we recognize that auto repairs can be complex, and sometimes things don’t go perfectly the first time. Despite the challenges, we appreciate Shane’s effort and expertise, and we’re glad to have found someone with a strong reputation in the area.”

“I've been going to Johnson's auto for some time now. They always do great work & even for me today. I needed an oil change this morning and that went well. Later this afternoon I ran over a screw that was in the road (probably from all that roadside construction going on around the area). Took it back to Johnson's and they were able to fix the slow air leak in one of my tires and remove the screw no problem. Dave & Jim are great. I recommend them to everyone.
PS - I think it serendipitous that I have the same last name as Johnson's auto even though we're not related. I trust them completely & I wouldn't go anywhere else.”
“I recently relocated to RI from NJ and purchased a used vehicle from a resident. Th vehicle had set for a number of years and subsequently would not start. My friend in West Warwick who has had her vehicle worked on by Priority over the years and has been extremely satisfied with the service suggested I have them look into the issue, so I did. To my surprise, not only did they diagnose the obvious a bad battery, but a slew of other moderate to minor required repairs. The owner Alan and mechanic (Bryce) were beyond accommodating, the cost to get the vehicle back on the road again was far less than I ever imagined. In just a matter of 2 days most of the recommended were made and I was able to drive the vehicle off the lot! The entire experience has been no less than complete satisfaction. Now, if and when I'm asked by someone who i'd recommend car service from hands down "Prioity Auto towing and repairs". Thank you so very much for job well done guys! ?”

“BRING YOUR CARS TO THESE GUYS!!!!! They truly care for their customers and do everything they possibly can to get you back on the road. I recently got a full set about a week ago and one of my tires ended up getting damaged and wasn’t allowed to be under warranty because of road damage. Don the manager took his time to try and see if we could save the tire and when we couldn’t he made sure that I didn’t leave without getting my car back on the road. They hooked me up with a new tire and made sure that I was safe and ready to go back on the road. If you choose any tire place to get your wheels please choose them they are top tier and amazing with their customers!!!!!!!”

“They told me they can not get parts for my cars transmission but then told me that it might be covered under Nissan factory warranty then called both local Nissan dealers and made sure it was covered. They saved us approx $4000
This was not the first experience with them they do quality work.
I just used them again in 2024 he didnt fix the miss fire but he got me in the right direction and said my transmission was OK. He also charged me a very fair price.. He probably could have told me my truck transmission was bad and sold me one... Very honest shop..”

“"Young" Jimmy and "Not So Young" Jimmy are the best mechanics in the state. They have been maintaining my 1965 Mustang for 30+ years. Runs better than new. While there, ask them what they have in the back garage. They always have at least one classic car that the owner entrusted them to maintain. I recall a 1953(?) Corvette there once, only 300 were made.”

“I bought a vehicle from Jim about 7 mos ago. He walked me through the whole process and has been very patient and understanding with every annoyance I have bothered him with and there have been many. The beginning of Nov two of my Rogue was making a weird noise, on my way to class, like the caliper was stuck. I immediately came home. I called Jim and he came to my house to check it out. The caliper was indeed stuck, and had gouged my rotor. He had it brought right into the shop to find out the why. We later found out that two of my lug nut bolts had snapped, when I had accidently caught a curb a week or so prior. He and Mike went about getting the problem fixed. He also made sure I had a vehicle to use, even though my insurance did not cover rentals, and he did not have to, while he fixed the Rogue. When someone hit the loaner car, while parked near my house. I panicked and was really anxious about it. I called the police to report the hit and run. Then called Jim. He simply came looked at it, told me it would all be fine, to call my insurance company. He and his whole team have been wonderful to me. When it was all said and done, I only had to pay my deductible. He is an honest man and came through for me from the start. I would highly recommend his services whether buying a car, or repairs.”
