Moving back to RI, we needed a good mechanic, and after some searching, we were pointed toward Shane’s Auto Truck & Performance. Shane came highly recommended, and from the start, he showed real knowledge and skill in his work.
Before finding Shane, we had taken our car to Slater’s Auto Repair, but unfortunately, that experience was disappointing. After that, we were relieved to find someone like Shane, who seemed more reliable and professional.
While we did run into some unexpected issues with our car later on, we recognize that auto repairs can be complex, and sometimes things don’t go perfectly the first time. Despite the challenges, we appreciate Shane’s effort and expertise, and we’re glad to have found someone with a strong reputation in the area.”

“I have always had a good experience with this team.
When I moved to the state two years ago they helped me with my inspection and registration switch when I did not know what I was doing. Since then I thankfully have not had any major problems.
I had to go back to them today to inquire about getting new/used tires on my vehicle by the weekend (I went Thursday morning) so I thought it would be a tough ask. I pointed out I have different brands of tires on the front as I did not have the finances to replace them at the same time. They were more than helpful and understanding. I unfortunately do not remember the name of the man that helped me but said they could move my new-ish front tires to the back and get new tires on my front for only $300. AND it was done that same day.
PLUS, on top of that the heat shield on my car was rattling which they fixed without my asking for no additional charge!
I can not say enough good things about this team and I hope I don't have car trouble anytime soon but I know who I will go to if I do.

“This shop was recommended by my neighborhood mechanic and I’m glad I took his advice. Quaker is a great family run business with awesome customer service. I took my wife’s 2019 Acadia here due to her transmission sticking in all gears. From the time that I scheduled my appointment with Barbara (nicest woman alive mind you), until the time I picked the car up to pay my bill the experience was beyond amazing. I got an appointment the next day, they diagnosed the issue and repaired it that day and the price was more than fair. The issue with the vehicle is common with this make/model/year and two weeks after being repaired, the problem started happening again. I took it back to the shop and they again took care of it the same day… and no additional charge!
Don’t waste your time and money at any other transmission shop. You won’t find anything better than these guys.”

“"Young" Jimmy and "Not So Young" Jimmy are the best mechanics in the state. They have been maintaining my 1965 Mustang for 30+ years. Runs better than new. While there, ask them what they have in the back garage. They always have at least one classic car that the owner entrusted them to maintain. I recall a 1953(?) Corvette there once, only 300 were made.”

“I got four tires there recently. I also had them do an oil change and an alignment. After being there a couple of hours they came and told me that the Alignment machine was not calibrating correctly and I had to come back another day. However, they made good on it by doing the alignment a couple of days later free of charge. Excellent customer service, And respect for their customer’s time.”

“I bought a car at a reasonable price, but within the first two days of driving the check engine light came on. I drive a lot so i thought the warranty would have expired and they wouldn’t help. But i cannot stress this enough, they fixed the issue with ZERO issue. It was a difficult issue to diagnose/fix so there were multiple visits. But on each return, again zero issue, they fixed it. Now the car runs amazing. Great mechanics and the owner specifically told me, after asking about my worries about the warranty, “Of course we’ll fix it. We want you coming back to buy another car.” And trust, I will buy my next car here. Great, honest staff working there”
