“I had such a great experience with the staff at Craftland on a recent visit. I was visiting Providence from out of town and stopped in to the shop, which has so many unique and interesting hand made items. I purchased a gorgeous bracelet and wore it right out of the shop. Unfortunately my bracelet broke the next morning. I went back to the store and spoke with Heather, who had made the bracelet herself. She said she could fix it and mail it back to me in Virginia since I was leaving town that day. She communicated with me throughout the whole process and let me know when the bracelet was in the mail and on its way back to me. You just don't get customer service like this at many businesses these days. I will absolutely be visiting this store again if I ever get the chance to visit Providence again.”

“If you’re looking for a place where customer service is… selectively enthusiastic, this is the spot for you! My friend was admiring a Jellycat—one she’s actually purchased multiple times from this exact store—when the staff member (pictured!) made a bold announcement to the entire store: “If you’re holding a Jellycat, please put it back.” Mind you, no one else was even near any Jellycat display—just us. What timing! So lucky! It was especially heartwarming to see how other (white) customers were browsing freely, untouched by such helpful reminders. It’s nice to know there’s such consistency in how people are treated—depending on who they are. So if you’re white, you’ll feel right at home here! Everyone else—make sure not to look too interested in anything, or you might just get a public service announcement dedicated to you. Highly recommend—for the anthropological experience alone.”

“I have loved the paperstore and usually go to Manchester but saw one in Warwick. Very similiar both locations and lots to look at. You definitely can find a gift for either yourself or someone else. Looked around at the clothing, jewerly, ornaments, cooking items, and usually I cant get out without buying something lol. So many cool items. Asked a worker to look at some jewerly, then she walked away but someone else came to help me. It was a earring and necklace set I have been wanting but very pricey. Couple hundred just for the earrings. Beautiful collection though. I recommend the paper store for gifts.”

One side of the store is filled with home decor and jewelry and the other side has clothing, sunglasses, hats, etc. You can easily spend over an hour here. My niece, sister and I bought some jewelry, they had quite the selection. They be staff was also kind and helpful. I will definitely be back.”

“I love this store I shop at this location and the Smithfield one occasionally but for some reason at this Cranston location I always see employees walking around and like watching everything you do. This just happened to me today. Idk if some are secret shoppers but it’s uncomfortable when I’m browsing and every turn I see a worker with a head piece of another person staring at me and when I want to just relax and see what new items they have it’s unsettling and instead of wanting to browse everything I feel like I’m doing something wrong and want to buy my items and just leave. It’s not the relaxing experience I want to have.”
