They saved my cat, always answer the phone and answer any of the crazy questions I come up with as a cat mom, and literally care more about the animals than money, as their prices are far more than reasonable. My cat needed surgery and I did not have to take out a mortgage to fund it. Thank you GV!

We just hosted a birthday party there and they worked with us on a themed menu and were super flexible in accommodating our requests. Alicia’s ideas were spot on. The food came out awesome and the whole party had a great time. They deserve a five star rating and we can’t wait to work with them again. 306 Cowesett Ave #2, West WarwickI’ve been hearing by word of mouth that I need to try the pepperoni bar pie at Cowesett Pizza. Well, tonight I did and I cannot express enough how great it was. The staff were welcoming, friendly and had my order waiting.
Opened the box before cashing out to make sure the order was correct and I wanted to stay and eat it there…that’s how good it looked. Crisp undercarriage, burnt edges and a crispy cheese crust on top - not to mention the cup pepperoni that catches the grease while cooking. Dave Portnoy, if you’re looking for a new place to stop on your 1 bite tour, you need to add this to your list.
I personally won’t be ordering pizza from anywhere else going forward.
Kudos to the staff and owners - this place is a perfect example of why you should support small business.

With so many fun and creative pizza flavors, along with the rest of their menu, there’s always something new to try.
Some of my top picks (not including Hawaiian) include:
🍕 As Seen on TV! - Cheese, a BBQ cream cheese base, pepperoni, bacon, finished with BBQ sauce and Mike’s Hot Honey.
🍕 Pepperomenon - Cheese, a cream cheese marinara base, pepperoni, topped with Mike’s Hot Honey.
🍕 Murderoni - Red sauce, cheese, and absolutely smothered in pepperoni.
🍕 Waffle House - Cheese, bacon, chopped Belgian waffle pieces, and maple syrup.
🍕 Peter Piper’s Pickled Pizza - Cheese, roasted garlic Parmesan sauce, pickles (of course!), dill, and a drizzle of ranch.
It’s honestly impossible to pick just one favorite—which is exactly why we always order a 50/50 pizza.
Their menu goes far beyond pizza, too. They have amazing wieners, the crispiest fries, and one of their most unique items: War Hammers—2 garlic butter-coated Bavarian pretzels sliced down the middle and stuffed with your favorite toppings. This visit, we tried the Chicken Parm War Hammer, but Peter Piper’s Pickled War Hammer is definitely calling my name next time!
They’re always coming up with new and exciting creations. They’re even launching Nomad Home soon to help make cooking at home easier for families.

Rhode Island Parrot Rescue
173 Washington St, West WarwickI cannot say enough wonderful things about Rhode Island Parrot Rescue, especially the Maine branch. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable about the birds in her care and it’s obvious how deeply she understands parrot behavior, enrichment, diet, and overall wellbeing. Every bird is treated with genuine compassion and respect.
What really stood out to me was the amount of enrichment and foraging opportunities provided. The birds aren’t just “kept” there. They’re mentally stimulated, engaged, and clearly cared for in a way that prioritizes their happiness and quality of life. You can tell a tremendous amount of time, effort, and love goes into making sure they thrive.
It’s rare to find someone so dedicated and educated when it comes to exotic bird care. The rescue is clean, thoughtfully set up, and full of people who truly advocate for parrots. I would absolutely recommend Rhode Island Parrot Rescue to anyone looking to learn more about parrots, adopt, volunteer, or support an organization that genuinely puts the animals first.
