“I’ve lived in the area over 20 years. And although the postal workers have changed over the years they have always remained as some of the kindest in all of the city. This continues to remain my favorite station and has a small town/neighborhood feel to it.”

“Go here for any/all postal needs! The staff is knowledgeable, professional & welcoming. More importantly, they are extremely customer service oriented and always happy to help. They will always take the time to provide all shipping options available allowing YOU to choose the service that best fits your needs (overnight, insured, or cheapest way). I will never go anywhere else- you will get the absolute best service with a friendly smile!”
“I've been using this post office for years & have never had an issue. There's only long lines around nov-dec for obvious reasons. Staff is always helpful, location is much more convenient than the downtown location (parking always a nightmare), & the Corliss location is fine but it's ALWAYS so busy. Parking on Smith has never been an issue, or if you take public transportation, the bus (57 or 56 line) runs approx every 20 min & drops very close by. It is sometimes hard to spot since it's in the same building as a Mexican food restaurant & sits next to the Rhode Island credit union.”
“So, I just moved to North Providence and had to google the nearest post office. When I saw the bad reviews, I was driving there wondering what my experience would be like. Well, when I arrived there, I stood in a line of only 2 people, and noticed the clerk was very friendly and outgoing. When it was finally my turn, she was very helpful and answered all my questions. I introduced myself, and she stated her name is: Katt Lead Clerk. She did a great job and great customer service skills. Stop putting negative comments on places it ruins people's expectations. Let's be kind!”
“I have a question I'm not even sure if you can answer it I had ordered some items to which they said it was delivered but I never got it or signed for it the driver told them he left it at the post office what can I do to see if it's thee I don't have a tracking number I just have a message saying if I didn't get my packages to check with the post office.”

“It's a great little neighborhood post office. The staff is courteous and professional, but occasionally, the wait is a bit long. But, no longer than most Post Offices. Parking is limited to the street, but normally it's a quick in and out.”
“The people in the place were nice and help you with what you need help with to send your packages or mail. You can even get packing tape to reseal or tape the flaps of a new package, cheap and easy buy. Obviously pricing depending on the package size and weight and whether international or within the States but the resources are pretty much there. Check em out today for your package sending needs.”

Sometimes there is only 1 working and the line is long but I am happy to wait because of those nice ladies. They do their jobs the best they can. How USPS staffs their location is out of their abilities. There is also self serve at this location from printing QR label to ship the package if you don’t want to wait.”
“They unloaded me one day before my appointment! The little asian lady at receiving was very nice and friendly! She deserve a raise! I think she’s a shift manager or supervisor. Receiving is on the back of building on River St.
