“The check in staff are not enthusiastic about being there.
However, there is a ray of sunshine as your breakfast host in the morning. If you have been there more than once she knows your name and is perpetually happy and service minded. She makes up for everything else, which is by no means terrible, but also not inspiring either.”
“Front desk was very nice. Room was clean. However I had issues with the breakfast lady and my service dog. By law my dog is allowed anywhere, she has the audacity to tell me that my dog wasn't allowed in certain areas. And then said I don't see his badge. First of all you don't need to show proof, although I had proof. I showed the front desk lady his badge and told her that by law my dog is allowed anywhere. And her breakfast lady needs to know that., yes he is a registered service dog. Not champion or emotional support dog, an actual legit service dog. Right at the top it saids full access required by law, service dog. His picture, my name, and his ID number. So inclusion, my dog is allowed anywhere and people that work in a hotel should not tell anyone that a service dog can not go somewhere. I work in a hotel and I would never have treated someone the way that breakfast lady treated me and my dog. A pet friendly hotel and you have people that don't like dogs, especially service dogs, should not be seen in public areas. Maybe behind scenes but not where people and dogs are in the hotel.”

“They've updated all bathrooms and painted in every room!!! They're also reasonably priced, they won't allow hanging around outside so you can actually get rest. Cant forget the free WIFI.. Don't believe me, come and see for yourself!”

“don’t always roll into Anderson needing a hotel room that can rescue both my energy level and my lower back… but when I do, Comfort Suites Anderson-Clemson understood the assignment.
There’s something comforting about a hotel that doesn’t try too hard. You walk in tired, carrying too much stuff, mentally operating on 14% battery, and suddenly there’s cold AC, friendly staff, and the quiet realization that you may survive the week after all. The lobby had that dependable road-trip energy where somebody’s kid is carrying a pool towel like a superhero cape while another guy in a polo shirt is aggressively searching for coffee before sunrise.
The room itself was spacious enough to actually spread out without feeling like you’re living inside a carry-on suitcase. Soft beds, solid pillows, and one of those couches that immediately convinces you to “just sit down for a minute” before accidentally falling asleep with ESPN on in the background.
And let’s talk about hotel breakfast culture for a second. Nothing unites humanity quite like silently making waffles beside strangers at 7:03 in the morning. Everybody there looked equally determined to act normal while operating exclusively on caffeine and complimentary eggs.
Comfort Suites just nailed the vibe. Comfortable, convenient, low stress, and exactly the kind of place you’re grateful exists after a long drive or a full day around Anderson and Clemson.

“The room and the bathroom was clean. There was no light above the sink area which made it difficult for putting on my makeup or my husband to shave. The bed was firmer than I'm used to and pillows way too soft. The mini fridge was dirty and no coffee pot. Pricey for what you get but I visited for a concert. Good location, which is easy access to the highway. The front desk was very friendly and check in was fast.”
“This is a case of don’t judge a book by its cover and get past the cosmetic aspect. The hotel room was clean, floors, sheets bedding, bathroom, etc. The staff was very friendly, respectful and helpful. We felt safe, which is important. The only somewhat disappointing part was the pool appeared a little murky and there weren’t any lounge chairs so we ended up not being able to use the pool. Location wise it is located near restaurants, gas stations and such, which came in handy.”
