“My car has been in and out of shops the last couple of months. So I was grateful to find Ham Auto Repair. They took my car back right away and did a through diagnostic.
The other two shops I went too just scanned codes and did work based on that. At Ham, they scanned codes and physically checked the engine/other components to discover the issue.
From there, they fixed the minor issues and looked into a potential warranty for the big one, my motor.
Though they could fix the motor, I appreciate that they recommended that I contact the dealership in order to save $$$$.
This tell me that not only are they capable and knowledgeable, but also they are honest. I hope you give them a try.”

“Fantastic! They have 3 ASC certified mechanics. On a repair Butler Dodge wanted $2500 for, they charged $918. As part of the work, they manufactured a broken metal fitting that Butler would have charged for. Very impressive. Very professional.”

The next morning he straightened the hood and fixed the latch for less than the (bargain) estimate that he quoted. First class place first class people. “I am visiting friends in the area in my 40' diesel pusher Motor Home. A section of the coach's 4" exhaust pipe broke yesterday on 95 on my way here. I had absolutely no idea if or were I might be able to get it repaired. A friend of my friend suggested Duke's Muffler. They bent over backwards to help me out. Not only did they have the parts needed to effect the repair but they did it the same day.
Also the cost of the work was very reasonable and the workmanship was excellent.
I highly recommend Duke's Muffler.”

“We were working in Beaufort over the earlier part of the week. After a very long day as we were pulling off the job my 2019 Ram 2500 Cummins tore up. We got it towed to Forrester Performance late that evening. Touched base with them first thing the following morning and they had my truck ready to go that afternoon. Very pleased with the customer service and also the professionalism they provided. Highly recommend these guys!!”

“Preferred shop by insurance company. Used twice due to to auto mishaps. Excellent service and workmanship. Could not see that vehicle ever had any damage. Shop also updated status of repair every step of the way from start to finish.”
“A friend and I were traveling from Alabama to Virginia after attending a school. His C/V Axle went out on his car while we were going north on I-95 about 9 o’clock at night. Thinking we would be stranded for several days, the shop being backed up, was able to get the part and replace it for us in several hours having us back on the road. From management to mechanics, beyond excellent customer service the entire time. Although there was no waiting area, the manager offered many times to accommodate. I would recommend this place to anyone who I know is in that area for travels in need of assistance any day. If there was a 10 star option My Tech would get it.”

“I am from out of town and my car broke down. They got me in right away even though they were busy. I met both the owner and the owner's wife who helps and they were both very fine people. The owner worked to get me back on the road quickly. He did not try to upcharge or upsell me. 10/10 I would use his businesses routinely if I lived nearby.”
“Highly recommend. I had them clean and bore an engine block, clean/rebuild/pressure test cylinder head and file rings for the engine on my Miata. Currently have around 5,000 miles on the engine. These guys do top notch work.”

“Honest man never had an issue in over 25 years.....I brought my car in today for some maintenance due to the dealership I bought the car from said it needed work done. I dropped my car off to Mr. Gur at 8am, within an hour I got a call from Mr. Gur stating the work was not needed and come get my car. Since the mid 90's "Gurs" has worked on my vehicles without issue or problems. This is my go-to mechanic. Wish everyone had his integrity!”
“I just moved down here from NY with a typical rusted NY car. They were recommended to me by a community member. I have had 2 oil changes with them. On the last oil change I had him check my wheel bearings, which needed to be replaced. Todd and his employees were honest with me, when they told me they may have a difficult time replacing it due to rust, but would try. They got me in on short notice, and kept me informed through the day, and allowed me to stop by and get something out of my vehicle for work, that was left in there without any gripe. I am happy utilizing Beaufort auto repair and towing as my go-to garage for future repairs.”
