“Very cheap meat prices in the whole Orangeburg. There was no steak but they cut it for me fresh and good. They always have sale on leg quarters / Chicken wings / drumsticks. I buy a whole box to get it in more cheap price. I see someone wrote a review about meat case being empty but their specialty is meat because is fresh and so good. If you are looking for something and if you don’t find it, ask them they will help you out and if they don’t have it then they will order it for you.”
“This is one of the many dollar gwneral on orangebueg yet this one is my favorite...it is much larger and always has everything in stick as opposed to never having what I want in stock like most of the others this one also has a great new variety of Items that I have no seen at other DG and the best part to me is thst the clearance section is actually priced!!! Yes all the little nick Nala everything is individually priced unlike any other DG I've ever been too...the staff is very friendly as well”
“There were clothes heavily discounted on the rack outside the door. There were kids fun clothes and adult shirts for $2-$3. The store was similar to most Dollar General, a lot of products and toys. Mostly go there for the snacks and toys. Can’t go wrong with those two”
“Parking for appointments was a concern. I26 has a Rest Area close by, and there are 2 Truckstops on the road near the Entrance. Pleasant Staff & got unloaded quick...Be prepared for a Lumper fee. Will take a Comdata Check but no Comdata Card. Alot of room to maneuver a 53 ft trailer with sleeper tractor”
“I would recommend this place. The food is great, but I've had an unpleasant visit on a morning breakfast. The guy was rude and act as if he had and attitude. I'll go back but wants nothing to do with him. Don't want him fixing my food.”
“I had no clue Dollar General sold fresh produce! Something I love about the south, they sell in convenience stores. Although they were sold out of what I needed, sympathy cards, they had some of my favorites. I just had to grab my Munchos.”
“I shop at this store frequently because its convenient and the workers are friendly and helpful. However, the day I visited the store the roof was leaking in several places causing the staff to block off entire aisles and set out buckets to catch water. Hopefully they'll get the roof repaired soon.”

07/17/25 WOW!!! I can't believe it, it seems like something has changed here!!! app at 8:00 am checked in at 6:30, they immediately gave me the door and gave me the documents at 8:50 am.”

“Went in for a few quick things..Lakeisha the cashier was working hard to get items stocked up front. Her manager was in the office talking and laughing.. clear view of up front and wouldn't come out to assist someone wanting to check out. Instead they waited until Ms. Lakeisha had stood up, as she was working the very low shelves so she could see the customer to take care of them. Then as the customer was leaving, proceeded to go and in a sickly sweet voice, tell Ms Lakisha that she needed to keep a better eye on her register. To have an employee work as hard as that and doing both things while you sit in the office and laugh and giggle and do whatever. Then go for a smoke break. I'd say you're lucky to have her. I vote for Ms Lakisha to get a $3 raise plus some!!”
