“I have only visited this store twice. The first time was right before the ice storm January 2025. I had looked for propane the night before and could not find any. I called when they opened and was told by a nice lady they had received a refill the night before. I went and a young guy named Levi helped me, he was so kind, friendly and helpful. He would not let me lift my own propane cylinders.
This past Monday I went for propane when I got off work at 7AM. Of course they were closed and I knew it but I did not mind waiting. David the owner showed up just before 8AM. He was hurrying to get the gates open to help me. I told him to take his time, I was in no hurry.
David was very friendly and helpful. There were no customers there yet and we talked for a while. He even invited me to go to church with him.

They have the cheapest propane price anywhere. For any hardware or propane needs, I will be shopping at Cross Hill Hardware.

“Great place; especially if a part is needed quickly plus it helps keep a business open that is very much needed locally. employees have more understanding of what is needed , unlike most employees at Lowe's (when you can find one)Also very good on prices , especially when you consider time and gas to go to Laurens or Greenwood .Also will order things needed for a later date , but it's up to you to place your order ahead of time ,so you can receive it store , or maybe even have it delivered to your address.I give my support to this business because I would hate to see it go , as most small businesses do because a large franchiseJust doesn't know you by your name.”

“I can't say enough about how incredible the employees are at this store. During the aftermath of Hurricane Helene throughout the southeastern part of the US, many in the upstate were left without power. Regardless of that, this store made sure to take care of their community by ensuring that many people could get a generator that needed one. Without any power at the store, the employees stayed up all night organized names and phone numbers and were on top of making sure that everyone on the list was called in a very timely manner. The pickup was also seamless. Truly amazing store who cares about their community!! Thank y'all!!”
