“In my past life HA HA .... as a truck driver..Walt's was a regular stop. We would stop daily for chili dawgs. Ate many a chili dawg and always enjoyed the hospitality and friendship over the years. Always appreciated the parking area, the conversations and the chili dawgs. Walt was a great American !!! If I get back up there in the area hope to stop in and check on everything.”
“Small town grocery store! Perfect for our small town :) everyone knows everyone. The people are friendly and helpful. Everything is always stocked. They have the cute little kids carts so your child can push a cart too. Not many stores have that anymore”

“I absolutely love DG!!! Dollar General is my new Walmart...But that depends on which one you go to. The one on 25 across from the Expo300 is the best the workers there are awesome well the ones in the morning I'm not sure wat they got going on in the evening wit these very young cashier's. They r respectful but very slow, morning time no matter how many people are there I know I can get in and out within 10 min or less depending on wat I get but afternoon I will b n line for at least 15 min and it's only 6 people n front of me. But all n all I give them 5 stars.”
“Major renovation and revamp done recently (last year?). Best gas and diesel prices around. Very clean and well stocked with options. Offers gas and Diesel, pay at the pump (DEF is also available). Busy intersection and the business is thriving under new ownership and renovation. I always stop here to get my fuel, because i know the prices are the best !”

“I was in the Dollar General on Wednesday afternoon around 6pm 2/8/24 and there was the nicest lady that helped me look for a product. She went out of her way to help. She was stocking and told me where the Dog Pads were. I want to thank her for help and customer service. It is because of people like her, that I will be back in this store.”
“The employees are always friendly, with a greeting when you walk in. They know regular customers by name. The grocery, home & discount sections are great to have in one place, especially for this small town. I would have given 5 stars, but the app & using coupons is difficult. , as well as not being able to pay with PayPal, as PayPal advertises it is an option.”

The other dollar general in Honea Path... TRAINWRECK!. You shop off carts or piles of stuff in the aisles... you'll be lucky if they have it at all. Hate to go on that store!”
