“i love this store. Been shopping at this store on Irby St , Florence SC many many years. If i stopped shopping here you would not miss me. If all the money I spent here over all the years was taken away, you would notice. My family moved here in 1966, I was 17 now I'm 71 and 72 in May. I like to move isle to isle looking at everything and your great prices. I'll stroll throughout the entire store , time permitting. Couldn't say enough good about this ROSES. Recently I finished looking and remembered i needed a power pack or phone charger. Now I don't know how much I look like a shop-lifter in a grey hoodie, on camera but I got this feeling when I heard over the speaker "SECURITY TO _______" . I was in electronics looking at my power pack. And opening it to check it out. (NOTE: i sometimes i will open if i know I am going to purchase} this lady comes over close to me and watches. I ask her a question about this product ... she says "BUY IT AND TRY IT" .. i WAS INSULTED. I did get one at Walmart. What should I do???? Karl Ford [email protected]”

“I love this place! It really is a treasure hunt but worth the time. A lot of items ate name brand. EVERYTHING is NEW. Items include clothing (brands you'd recognize from BJs and Sam's), kids toys, small kitchen appliances, tiered food gift baskets (great for co-worker gifts or doorprizes for fund raisers).A big thank you to the owner. “I recently went to this store to pick up a few items for my wife to help her get over her stomach bug. I had trouble finding some of the things she needed and asked a young woman for help. I believe her name was Corina. She was incredibly helpful so kind and polite that it made my visit that much better. This isn’t my normal Dollar General store as there’s one closer to my house(that store was closed early for some reason) but from now on I’ll be going here! Thank you Ms. Corina you were such an amazing help during my stressful time! Dollar General needs more employees like her!”

“I would love to give all kudos to the lady that rang me out on Friday December 22, 2023. The Dollar Tree store on 2nd loop rd in Florence sc Her name was Africa. She deserves a raise. She was the only person who was cashing people out the line was so long but she was still very pleasant and polite. So very happy with the way she handled the people in all the long line. When it came to my time to be rang out she was so happy and very polite. I asked her how she was doing a d she told me that she is very tired but she was just pushing herself to get the line down and keep the customer happy. She even wished us Happy Holidays. She is a very sweet young lady. Dollar tree needs more people like her. Africa was awesome lady. Thank you Africa for the awesome job you did. All of us that was in line said the same thing about her. Keep up the great job Africa.”

“This is a small store and cluttered like most Dollar Generals. However it does have a certain small town charm to it. The staff here seem to know most of the customers by name. A little understaffed compared to most Dollar Generals however it is a smaller store in a smaller town.”

She understood the struggle I had of buying too much candy and energy drinks without the foresight of getting a cart. The mistake of buying cherry twizzlers instead of the original, strawberry. Which I believe we've all made and ultimately regretted. Above and beyond she went. If I had cash I would've left a tip and asked for a movie recommendation.”
