“My son loves this place plus they have cheap cables.. and LED lights.---The store has items above 5$ now, so the name is misleading. It should be "five BELoW and sometimes 10$-20$ depending if the item has LEDs'.”
“It's kinda like a K-mart. There are deals to be had. You need to check quality of clothing. My only issue was no access to try clothing on. Check-out was fast in spite of long lines.”

“I shop weekly, at the Family Dollar nearest my house and have done so, for more than the past ten years. I did not catch the names of the employees, but I believe this is how to show my appreciation for the benevolent customer support at this location. I am mentally disabled and they have never suffered negativity from them, and this one young lady always has a Christian greeting or farewell, when she can see her customers. I plan on going upto Corporate..actually I've been waiting to talk to your Corporate office...its taking forever, so I found this site and am trying it. Thanks Family Dollar people!”

“I love this place! It really is a treasure hunt but worth the time. A lot of items ate name brand. EVERYTHING is NEW. Items include clothing (brands you'd recognize from BJs and Sam's), kids toys, small kitchen appliances, tiered food gift baskets (great for co-worker gifts or doorprizes for fund raisers).A big thank you to the owner. She is very pleasant and helpful. My friend and I were greeted as soon as we entered the store”

“I have beeb remiss in making this review,however, the past two times I went to this location on 2nd Loop, Florence, I'm greeted with a huge smile and "welcome to dollar general by Taniyah, she is the most customer friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Super sweet and courteous. I went to the same location in late April and needed some balloons blown up, I also wrote down the names of her co-workers this particular Saturday night and for the life of me I can't find my receipt that I jotted their names on. The balloons gave them a bit of an issue, but they did not stop until they figured out how to get this done. They were absolutely awesome and smiled and joked the entire time! Nowadays customer service is all but non-existent, but Taniyah is absolutely awesome! The epitome of what customer service should look like and be.

“Went into the DG at 3315 West Palmetto on New Year's Eve. Bought a $50 gift card and some other items. Went home and didn't realize the gift card wasn't in the bag until 5 days later...But the cashier TWAISHA had put it up for me and it was there waiting for me. That sort of honesty deserves a praise in this day and age!!”

“I recently went to this store to pick up a few items for my wife to help her get over her stomach bug. I had trouble finding some of the things she needed and asked a young woman for help. I believe her name was Corina. She was incredibly helpful so kind and polite that it made my visit that much better. This isn’t my normal Dollar General store as there’s one closer to my house(that store was closed early for some reason) but from now on I’ll be going here! Thank you Ms. Corina you were such an amazing help during my stressful time! Dollar General needs more employees like her!”
