“I shopped in this store on 12/20/2025. Part way through my shopping I began to feel unwell. When I was checking out, I asked the young man at the register if it was possible to have someone help me take the groceries to my car. He stood at the end of the checkout and caught the eye of someone over him, who gave him permission to take my cart out. “My experience at Piggly Wiggly was great. The store is small but has a great selection and very affordable prices. They have a soul food buffet and tons of meat. The produce section is very small however. But overall i think Piggly Wiggly is a great store.”

“Stopped while traveling. No wait. Chicken and oxtail were perfect. The rice and cabbage were better than imaginable. Grabbed a bottle of Bak Foods Scotch bonnet sauce because we like everything hot and wish we’d gotten another. I’m not a reviewer, this might be my first. Had to do it though this place is killer.”

“I have beeb remiss in making this review,however, the past two times I went to this location on 2nd Loop, Florence, I'm greeted with a huge smile and "welcome to dollar general by Taniyah, she is the most customer friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Super sweet and courteous. I went to the same location in late April and needed some balloons blown up, I also wrote down the names of her co-workers this particular Saturday night and for the life of me I can't find my receipt that I jotted their names on. The balloons gave them a bit of an issue, but they did not stop until they figured out how to get this done. They were absolutely awesome and smiled and joked the entire time! Nowadays customer service is all but non-existent, but Taniyah is absolutely awesome! The epitome of what customer service should look like and be.

“It's newly remodeled and fairly nice, but I go here for convenience more than anything. I like food lion or harris teeter meat department and fresh fruit/veggie section better because I think they have more options. The staff have always been super nice and I've never had a bad experience.”

“Easy to get in and out with plenty of room and parking including handicapped. The pumps are modern accepting usual forms of payment including mobile payments with the Shell app.”
“I don't mind this location because can get in and out quickly avoid the Walmart superstore crowd. There is a drivethrough pharmacy window which I prefer to walking inside. Some of the shelves were not re-stocked to keep up with customer demand. I think the produce section is smaller than that in superstore. No apple juice in the aisle was a deal breaker for my wife. The amount of check out people was 1 which seems understaffed. The parking lot is definitely too small, there's only 3 rows to use close to front door. This location is good to get in and out for a few items, for large grocery visits choose elsewhere.”
“Of all the Dollar General stores in the area, this one is the best in terms of finding what you need, and the helpfulness of the associates. A very friendly crew, (out of all that I've seen so far) Highly recommended.”
