“Stopped in for a couple of store picks to take with me back home (Phoenix). Was pleasantly surprised by the selection and recommendations from staff. Will be back.”
“Graft on King Street is my go-to low-key wine hangout—cozy vibe, knowledgeable staff, and the pimento cheese snack from Callie White is a standout. Great spot for a relaxed glass, good chat, and discovering something new.”

“Great selection for a smaller shop. Unique offerings and delightful staff. They even do free tastings of things you wouldn't easily find somewhere else! I will definitely be a regular customer.”
“Competitively priced, the location is perfect for a purchase on the way home from work. Recently, I had the pleasure of working with them in preparations for an upcoming party. Very helpful in making suggestions regarding gaps in my planned selections. Had all the items ready for pickup in plenty of time for my event. Enjoyed the feel of shopping in a store and not a box house.”
“This is the cutest local wine shops. The owner was the sweetest and so eager to help out. The shops is perfectly clean with a beautiful aesthetic. Great place nestled in old village. Check out the peep holes in the bathroom and the willie Nelson t shirts. Loved the dry white wines… we will be back very soon! Each visit is Berger than the last! We live it here!”
“The nicest people own this place they also own a store in Mount pleasant and one in Summerville they go out of their way for us they also sell thca it absolutely works feels exactly the same as flower”
“WestAshCigars has become my Go To cigar shop. The owner and staff are always friendly , helpful, and provide wonderful service. This shop has a great selection at great pricing.”
“Very friendly couple that owns Jay's Liquors. It was always a pleasure speaking with them and listening to their suggestions of new drinks to try. We've since moved away from the area but we will definitely be back when we come back to visit!”
“Great service! Email notifications were sent for updates on my order. It was promptly packed and shipped. And it arrived well packed. Would gladly order from Seven Star Liquors again.”
“The store hours previously listed were for the warehouse (South Carolina does not allow liquor sales after 7 p.m.). As this is an entry for Costco LIQUOR (the ABC part of the store), I submitted updated hours.Because they actually close at 6 p.m. on Saturdays, probably since the warehouse closes earlier.”
“The staff is awesome and cool! At the last minute, I changed my mind and didn't want the bottle of Honey Jack Daniel's, the manager refunded me my money with no issue. i really appreciate the great customer service and professionalism!”
“OMG - the camembert with truffle cream is OUT OF THIS WORLD good. At $60 a pound, what else would you expect, especially if you like/love truffles (not the chocolate type). Wonderful selection of meats and cheese. Friendly folks, and they know their cheese.”
“They've always been here rooted to the earth since I was growing up.all they did different was advance with time and technology..I love this place ..it's original, one of a kind , it's home”
“My husband is from Texas and loves TX bourbon. He has a hard time finding it in a lot of the liquor stores, they usually have the TX whiskey, but not the bourbon. I stopped in to Forsberg's just to see if they had it. The gentleman working. There was extremely helpful and nice. I was able to score a bottle of TX bourbon for my husband. Now we know where to find this.”
“Yes it's a small venue. You have to remember Charleston doesn't have big buildings. The selection is good, some higher price others easier on the wallet all good. Brother Don is the best. Warm, will wellcome you in, and very knowledgeable. Love this lounge. And unlike another lounge....the fact that you walk in makes you the right fit for the lounge.”
“Really good bourbon selection with knowledge staff! MUCH better than the big chain stores like bottles and total wine. Looking forward to coming back every week!”
“Hey Y’all - The Pirate Hunter’s Food Review is back with another hidden local gem for a 5 star review! This little convenience store / restaurant combo is legit good home cookin’. Nothing over the top or super crazy fancy, but simply a master of the basics. Take for example this bragel (breakfast bagel) for example. Perfectly grilled crisp bacon & over medium eggs with American cheese on an everything bagel. A true power breakfast sammich right here on the go post ruck. If you don’t know me - I do 24 hr ruck challenges so food is important in fueling performance. In addition to this bragel, I’ve had the seasoned French fries which are great and the burger is like having a good backyard grill out without having to cook or do dishes! All in all - This little neighborhood spot is a great hidden gem to grab on the go or order with UberEats! With 3.2M Views and Exploding - Follow Me here and on the gram @justinmyerspiratehunter as I hunt great restaurants and food across America!”
“Stono Liquors on Maybank Highway on Johns Island is a quality liquor store that has just about every that you need at a really good value. They have a really good variety and selection of different items to choose from and I have always found what I was looking for and I usually get a few more items too. The staff here is very accommodating and friendly.”
“This place is great one review had the owner as rude. I don't know if the lady I meant is the owner but she was super nice. She helped me pick out an offley 2000 vintage port which is great. We talked about maidera and port for over 30 mins. The guy in the wine store was also very nice and helpful. I will be back for that 1987 maidera.”
“This place is amazing! Didn't know what was inside until very recently, I wish I visited before recently:(
Furniture and home decor: I was surprised to see the variety and ethnic representation of many parts of the world, diverse but amazingly beautiful styles, textures and colors! Authentic, beautiful and inexpensive rugs. Great variety for patio furniture. Loved the spring faux flowers, much better quality than Michaels.
Grocery isles: these took me by surprise. Great collection of English, Korean, Japanese, Italian and Irish foods. This is how I ended up finding the best ramen cup noodles l have ever had. In addition, a big collection of unique American foods, my favorite being the guaua jam from a Hawaiian company.
Chocolates and sweets: a great selection of chocolates and sweet treats across the world, a very nice place to shop at, when you crave for Cadbury chocolates or Korean gummies or German chocolate crackers or Thai coconut rolls.
Liquor: this place has outdone any other place I have visited for good quality authentic and exotic liquor. I say mango rum and Korean pear wine, with some serious sake variety!
Kitchenware: mostly American, but the only place to find unique but useful items like manual glass coffee maker,
In summary, highly recommend this place for surprise finds across the world that make great gifts and diversify your home and kitchen”
“Sadly, I did not catch her name but the girl who works in the deli section (5/9 @ 3:30) deserves a raise! She mentioned over the phone she’s worked there for a little over a year. She called to tell me that something I ordered ahead online wasn’t available and asked if I wanted a substitute. I remember dealing with her in-store a few months ago and both my husband and I mentioned how kind and thorough she was at her job. It’s so hard to find good employees these days that actually take pride in their job let alone have good customer service skills. Do whatever you have to do to keep her around! She is management material.”
“This store is a true gem! The Italian section is particularly impressive, featuring top producers of Brunello, Barbaresco, and Amarone, some of my absolute favorites. These wines are hard to find elsewhere, making this selection truly special.
The store also offers an excellent collection of books that provide detailed information about the vineyards these wines come from, enhancing the appreciation of their unique qualities and why they are so highly sought after.
Their selection of Tequila is outstanding, featuring only the best brands without any mass-produced corporate options.
For those who appreciate fine Amaros, digestifs, and aperitifs, the store boasts a curated collection from the finest producers.
Additionally, the store carries exceptional wines from Washington, Oregon, New York, and, of course, France. The Champagne and Sancerre selections are particularly noteworthy.”
“I give my review of Harris Teeters 5 golden stars. Harris Teeters (the old Pig) is clean and up to date. Plus, they have a wide variety of items with expensive lookin labels. There is a Starbucks in there, too. It probably sounds like the new Harris Teeters is better than the old Pig. Untrue. You can't write checks for $20 over, the cigarettes are expensive as hell, the food ain't a bargain either, and whatevers worse than hell, that's what the traffic is like around there now. Beside that, warm mid grade pizza surrounded by high falutin cheese and olives, an overpriced salad bar
with weird crap instead of iceberg, local tomatoes, orange french, and ambrosia and that, and a deli that can't never make food like the old Pig ladies did ain't all that impressive I liked it better when you could grocery shop a buggy full and not blow the food budget for the month by week 2. I loved how we got a big Christmas because the Pig gave us Greenbax. And I can imagine who thought the entrance to the grocery store (by the beach) was better off with a coffee shop instead of assorted beach toys, pool noodles, Pepsi, bug spray, and Pig tees. The other day, I heard some lady in the parking lot asking if that poke juice bowl place on the end was always here. No ma'am it sure wasn't ( just like you wasn't). That was the Golden Cue. And that's what it meant when we was stickin with the Pig. The Pig used to shoot pool with us right nextdoor to the grocery sto. Then one day, he just stopped stickin with us. Could be he lost his ass in there. That and cashing all those checks for $20 over. Anyway, I can't wait (you online for a grocery store chain review when you should just ask around the neighbors) til y'all get up enough money to move up and tote Harris Teeter with you out to Kiawah so the traffic on the Island can die back down and the Pig won't get hit by car trottin back home to the corner of Maybank and Folly!”
“Small but very well stocked. Big selection. I feel prices are a bit high but I understand due to it being only one on the island and it being on an island. They were nice inside which always a plus.”
