“I don’t live in the area but find myself thinking often about hanging out at Graft…having a nice glass of wine and listening to their house band that rips. Just an ideal room with good wine that you can tell had a lot of thought put into it. I stop by every time I’m in town. Recommend you do the same when you’re there.”

“I recently revived a pipe from storage and visited West Ash Cigars in search of some pipe tobacco. I met Steve, the owner, who is a delight. He is very pleasant, competent, and helpful. He stocks an excellent selection of cigars and pipe tobacco (loose and tins) as well as all the other bits like lighters, butane, etc. I’ve been back several times since my first visit and Steve is always there with a smile. West Ash Cigars is my favorite cigar shop in Charleston. Stop in soon, and stop in often. You won’t be disappointed!”
“Wow! Why has it taken me so long to visit this place?! We’ve lived downtown for almost 10 years now and I’ve always heard great things about this place. My bestie came into town and was looking for RAW milk and cheese options. When we stepped in, they were so nice and accommodating there. I wish I caught the girl’s name who helped us-but we asked for her recommendation on a charcuterie spread (since we had no idea how to pair there, how much to get for the 3 of us, etc) She considered our preferences and got everything taken care of for us! We were pleasantly surprised at the $40 and we also got a delicious can of pickles-yes they’re all gone now, everything was devoured that evening!! The cheeses were Soooooo good! She really gave us some good ones!! I couldn’t even pick a favorite because I loved them all equally and they all had different tastes and complexities!! The Cana del cabra was a RAW almost Brie like cheese with a slight mushroom taste, the manchego is made from sheep’s milk and was so good on its own! And the alp blossom which was another raw cheese with edible blossom rind-omg 🤤. And she paired it with spec and finocchiona meats. Just heavenly. The food and the experience and customer service there just made us customers for life. Thank you so much!!”

“The store hours previously listed were for the warehouse (South Carolina does not allow liquor sales after 7 p.m.). As this is an entry for Costco LIQUOR (the ABC part of the store), I submitted updated hours.Because they actually close at 6 p.m. on Saturdays, probably since the warehouse closes earlier.”

“Sadly, I did not catch her name but the girl who works in the deli section (5/9 @ 3:30) deserves a raise! She mentioned over the phone she’s worked there for a little over a year. She called to tell me that something I ordered ahead online wasn’t available and asked if I wanted a substitute. I remember dealing with her in-store a few months ago and both my husband and I mentioned how kind and thorough she was at her job. It’s so hard to find good employees these days that actually take pride in their job let alone have good customer service skills. Do whatever you have to do to keep her around! She is management material.”
“Stono Liquors on Maybank Highway on Johns Island is a quality liquor store that has just about every that you need at a really good value. They have a really good variety and selection of different items to choose from and I have always found what I was looking for and I usually get a few more items too. The staff here is very accommodating and friendly.”

“This place is great one review had the owner as rude. I don't know if the lady I meant is the owner but she was super nice. She helped me pick out an offley 2000 vintage port which is great. We talked about maidera and port for over 30 mins. The guy in the wine store was also very nice and helpful. I will be back for that 1987 maidera.”
