“Simple ABC store with an excellent selection of wines and spirits. Easy to get to with free parking by the front door. Was greeted by the cashier as soon as I walked in and was totally blown away by their selections and great prices.”

“I don’t know who they send to do their single barrel bourbon picks, but they do a great job. Most recently their Smoke Wagon, Russell’s Reserve, and Larceny BP store picks have been bangers.”

“We used Sauce Monkey for the liquor at our wedding. Chuck was outstanding to work with and gave us a great deal. If you're currently planning an event I HIGHLY suggest you give Sauce Monkey a call. Their personal approach to customer service was so helpful for us.
Other than that, they have a great selection that's competitively priced - plus Chuck is always fun to run into.

“Love the deals. Loves the staff. Always very clean and they usually have everything I need! If they are running a sale and they are out of an item you can get a rain check for that item and purchase it at the sale price when the product is restocked. Harris teeter has everything you need, a bakery, deli, pharmacy, Starbucks, Flouriest, gas points and more. Highly recommend shopping here!”

“Very, very nice selection ( actually its quite phenomena),and experience first time in. Just moved down to the Walnut Creek Community if you will, just a few miles past Carolina Commons plaza.For some reason I wanted to try some Scotch, and also taste and learn a few things about it. And no I am not trying to be funny lolAs I entered, it had a very calm and clean atmosphere feel to it. Went over to the section as mentioned above and I was like WoW!!!Now I ran a few Wine & Liquor businesses in my mid 20's ( Now 38) so I had some knowledge of what's in front of me but was surprised that, and as far as I knew, they had some really top notch stuff.I looked over the whole display because literally every bottle I wanted to read and take home Hahaha. I asked the gentleman about a couple bottles and he recommended the,Glenlivet Scotch Single Malt 14 Year Aged in Cognac Cask.I said, Sold! $64.I believe he said he was the Owner, but regardless, he very nice and polite, so Thank You.And how did it taste your wondering?!** It tastes ..... Really Really Good **I'm going to the Glenlivet Aged 15 years next, and then up to the special one. Stay tuned ????”
“Small but great service. It doesn't look like much on the outside. I almost didn't go in. But it's just a little mom and pop store and they guy was wonderful. Genuinely nice and spent a lot of time with me and answering my questions. Overall a great experience”
“I had a disappointing experience at my usual Harris Teeter (160 West Town shopping center) the associate was dismissive and unhelpful when I asked about getting balloons blown up.
I ended up calling another location nearby, and Chris completely turned things around. He was friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond. He blew up my balloons, found a specific Spider-Man one I needed, matched the ribbons, and packaged everything perfectly.
Huge difference in customer service. Chris made it easy and enjoyable, Harris Teeter on Mercantile is lucky to have him!”

“When I'm in the Carolina's, it's your local supermarket. Specialty items, awesome deli/cheese section, wine selection that is the envy of my New York markets. Southern Hospitality shines through, store is neat n tidy and if you can't find what your looking for- the most helpful staff who know how to hold a conversation and have manners. Makes this Canadian transplant yearn to move down - just for the kindness.”
