“What to do in Green Sea, SC?Gotta stop at Sugar Bears and gas up at the BP.Get your spirits at the ABC store and stock up on your fresh meats at Clays next door.I was escaping Winter Storm Izzy on MLK weekend and stopped in here fora bio break and gas up. It was Friday night and the place was jumping!The parking lot was like a party with everyone clutching their brown bags and trying to be sly when hoisting their bottle for a pull.That was just a preview of what was about the happen when I went into the store. It was like a huge warehouse, people lined up in 2 lines at check-out, social distanced of course. I saw the fresh cooked fried chicken and i actually thought about it for a second.There was no sign to the bathroom so I had to ask a customer. I wondered through the store and finally found it. It was like a maze and I was tempted to check out the tools, the hardware and all of a sudden I'm thinking I don't have to go to Home Depot, it's all right here!There is no organization, everything is just random on shelves, hangars and hooks. Some stuff on shelves so high you would need a ladder.I was actually looking for some hose clamps and I knew they had to be in there somewhere but after 10 minutes I gave up. I grabbed a few snack items for the rest of the road trip & took my place in line with the rest of the dudes in their Camo gearWhen I got to the register the lady was real nice and I asked did she know what section had the hose clamps. They look she gave me was priceless.She almost started to laugh and then said 'come back tomorrow when the guys are here'.I stopped back in on MLK Monday for my return trip and sure enough, all the guys were there. I met a gentleman who had to be 80 if he was a day. He was bright eyed and wearing a VFW hat and I asked him about hose clamps.He said 'follow me' and I did. We wandered through the aisles like a labyrinth and there in front of me were...the hose clamps. With a big smile he said 'how many do ya need'? I explained what I was trying to do with them and he said, well, let's see..pi is 3.2...I know my mouth flew wide open and then he goes 'yep, I reckon you're going to need two of em' Was I in the Twilight Zone? We talked for a few minutes and I learned his name was Roger Lovett, he has worked there for 18 years. He said he's tried to retire twice but the owners keep offering him more money and he just can't say no. He said he's got a g/f in Raleigh. I figure he's the only one who knows where stuff is and what it costs because there was no tag on most of the stuff.He goes ' $2.39 a piece and you won't get a better price at Lowe's'Yes, it really happened just that way.From now on, when I'm on Hiway 9 headed south to NMB, I will be sure to stop in and say hello to Mr Lovett and... take my hardware check list. This place is better than any Walmart anywhere.”
“I have used Russell's for tire work at least a dozen times, usually hauling in a shredded tire on a wheel needing him to put a used one on it for me and you get the bonus of the best ice cream in town while you wait.”

“Good experience and good people on Exxon......❤️✨and one more think Lorish- town no 1 gas station.because I see all products price and I am shocked ? everything is lowest price comparison to another store....and I see all wine collection ? feel like a wine store..and wine on good deal going on ? check at i by already 20 bottles ??.and family chicken meal ?? and good fully testi chicken ? “Very convenient. Only issue i have is that the manager does not take the time to refill scratch off tickets before he leaves at the end of his work day. I would not even mention if it has only happened once in awhile. It is basically almost every time I go into the store after 5pm. The slots are mostly completely empty. Apparently the manager is the only one that can refill the scratch offs. In my experience many people go after work to stop by convenient stores to buy their scratch offs.”

“Really only been here once and that was today. With the gas shortage going on jt was one of the only places with gas. The employee I dealt with was very nice and extremely helpful.”
“Fuel is usually the cheapest in area, so is everything else for that matter. (cigarettes, energy drinks etc) Very nice owner and his kids are very respectable. They also sell some interesting things out of there such as motorcycles and chain saws lol so its kinda a surprise of what I'm gonna see every time I go in.”

“I got to this store at least 2-3 times a week whether I'm getting gas, drinks or food I've never had a bad experience here and this store is less thank 5 mins away from my home so very convenient.”

“Cheapest cigarettes Cheapest priced gas with sunoco brand Great customer services All products- you never need to go back for running out items as all the items are stocked up. Bright lighting in night gives extra security on highway customers.”

“They have good food. The fried fish and shrimp are good. ⁰The adjacent liquor store has decent prices. They have most any kind of household item you may need to fix anything like the sink, commode, shower, paint etc. the back section has a great selection of items at a decent price. Always call before you go to see if they have what you need. It's like a mini hardware store.”
