“This is an impressive ministry that takes donations of food and distributes the food to less fortunate people who need a meal or something to cook if they can't afford to spend money on food. They also provide friendly counseling to the people who want and need help with their problems. I stopped by to donate some furniture, but they have another location a few miles down the road for those types of donations. They invite walk-in people who need help in the mornings.”
“First positive experience I’ve had at the Taylor’s location in over 6 months. For once a sweet lady was working checkout (1:55 pm time frame) she was pleasant and it was a joy to check out. Much better than the old guy who is usually there”
“I seriously love everyone that works here and volunteers. I've been to many soup kitchens in different states and this is the only one that actually makes real meals. I look forward getting my lunch anytime I can get”
“We came to Greenville as BMW expats from
Germany. I quickly joined the Guild and had the privilege to learn about woodworking from the other members who so generously shared their wisdom and friendship with me. Their new CNC machines are amazing! I wish we had something like this in Munich/Germany.”
“First Impressions is a food pantry that helps families with food boxes that include fruits, vegetables, dry groceries and they are one of the few food banks that offer meats. This has helped my family immensely! Keep in mind they are appointments only for greenville country residents only and you can receive a food box every 30 days”
“Incredible organization that has helped more than one of my friends now preserve their legacy as they were dying of terminal cancer. Such a unique and special organization . I hope to gift them money in my will if so pass from this cancer .”
“Good training. Liked being able to do the self study on line. It shortened the in person class time to about 90 minutes for the hands on training for CPR, AED, and 1st aid. The new practice dummies give great feedback of the quality of chest compressions.”
“Started getting meals during pandemic when we picked them up. They deliver now with a smile and kind greetings. Nutritious and tasty meals with milk are healthy for our elders.”
“We appreciated their frank discussion and clear answers to complex issues involving practical and potentially hard matters. They presented both sides and allowed us to choose the way forward. Then they facilitated it.”
“The people that are not paid they're willing to do what they need to do to help others spite of whatever they're going through you can't get any more humane than that”

“I really appreciate trying emergency center I am not a member of the church but I attend NA meetings there. The facility is very clean and it is awesome that they allow us to host our meeting there.”
“Very nice museum. It welcomes military donations of any kind from any war. A great reminder for all to see what brave men and women did to secure our freedom. Thank you”

“The Greenville Chapter of the Alzneimer’s Association is a wonderful resource for those who are dealing with dementia whether it is the caregiver or the person living with dementia. My mother is living with dementia and being a caregiver can be a very lonely hard journey but the Alzneimer’s Association provided opportunities to connect with those on the same journey. We can share resources and stories with each other. The program director, Jamie, sets up educational and connection activities each month that are fun and perfect for all of us. I am so very thankful for Jamie and the others who participate in the activities.”
“Please would you call me? My name is miss Culver and I'm new here in South Carolina. I need help with paying my security deposit for my Duke Energy bill. I only get SSI so I'm not able to pay it. I normally pay my bills on the 1st of the month. So could you help me so I won't end up getting my lights turned off. Thank you very much and merry christmas and have a safe happy new year”
“They changed my life forever. Great program. Download the app @ miracle hill help kit for all the plethora of miraculous services provided. God truly does perform miracles here daily!!!! A picture truly is worth a thousand words!!!”
“We came here for the public indoor pool. The price was only $10 per adult. Perfect for a rainy and cold winter day. FYI, you only make a reservation online for a specific time slot but you pay when you arrive. It showed 32/50 people had already reserved for our time slot and honestly it wasn’t busy at all. I think it included the people in the lap pool.
The pool area has a great play area for little ones, with slides and fountains. The whirlpool isn’t open for kids. The water temperature could have been a little warmer, but it was alright when you kept moving. The changing rooms were alright, clean, but not new or fancy. We will definitely come back.”
“Thanks for helping me. They were here to pick up from a neighbor. I had a car trunk full to go. They were kind and polite and saved me a trip. Always blest by what Miracle Hill is doing. Bless you guys and ladies.”
“Awesome bins! I went on a Monday and it wasn't crowded and I still found a lot of good stuff. I stopped at the dollar tree to pick up some cleaning gloves beforehand and I'm so glad I did- the gloves were quite dirty after the endeavor.”
“This Goodwill is one of the best in Greenville! The store is always well-organized, clean, and easy to shop. The atmosphere is welcoming, and every worker greets you with kindness, which really makes a difference. Parking is simple and stress-free, and I love that it feels more well-kept than many other locations. On top of that, Tuesdays bring 25% off, which is such a great bonus. Honestly, this is my favorite Goodwill in the area—even compared to other branches like Miracle Hill. Definitely recommend checking it out!”
“When I was 5 or 6 years old, I had a younger brother in the hospital dying from kidney disease. Did not fully understand what was happening then or why I had to stay at the Ronald McDonald house, but I remember it being comforting, and a place to keep myself entertained, while my brother was passing away.
The Ronald McDonald House will always hold a special place in my heart, and is a blessing to the families that use it in their darkest times.”
