“Stopped by as a walk in on the way from Charleston, South Carolina to Tennessee for the first time. An hour into the drive the splash guard under the car came loose partially which has already happened previously, so I knew that’s likely all it was since I just had an oil change at home 2 days prior.

Don’t recall a name-but the gentleman at the front counter with longer hair and glasses was very welcoming and offered help right away, reassuring us we had chosen the right place to get this minor speed bump resolved. They were honest what they suggested and offered to not charge us either, so we gladly tipped, because at the end of the day they helped us and just listened to what we were asking when they could’ve easily said we don’t have time right now.

Another employee also offered refreshments while waiting due to the heat. Christian Brothers Automotive has genuinely good hearted people working there, and in the world of car repairs they let you know you’re in good hands.

“I was trying to get an idea of what it might cost to get a bad 3rd gear synchro replaced on a 2004 Acura RSX. It was grinding when shifted into 3rd. I knew this could be pricey and I was looking for help in deciding if it was worth it on such an old car that is not in great shape cosmetically. At another transmission shop nearby I was treated very rudely when asking the same question. At All Trans, Marc was very helpful and frankly spent more time than I expected explaining it to me. I concluded that it was not going to be worth the cost (no one's fault, it's just labor intensive) But the car in question is my son's and I have my own cars. I will go straight to All Trans when I need help with one of those.”

“Hi, I have a 1979 AMC Jeep CJ7. I’ve owned her for 44 years. For the last three years I was overseas and placed her in storage. Upon returning some of the gaskets ,oil pan, main bearing seals, had gone bad. I called a half dozen places in the Greenville and surrounding area, no one would do the job due to age. I usually do my own work but due to health issues I can no longer work on her. A respected friend told me to go to Chans transmissions. So glad I followed his advice. They needed the vehicle a few days and they gladly agreed to keep her stored inside during the overnight stays. I had found one other place in Pickens that works only on jeeps, their work failed after two days when I ultimately found Chans. “This team is amazing. I bought a used 2020 Ford Escape SE from Carvana. The 1.5L 8-speed automatic Dragon engines/transmissions are notorious for going bad. And it indeed had issues... While I didn't end up getting a new transmission put in, they still went through so many hoops to give me all my options.

I brought in a Ford Transit for a pre-purchase inspection. On the surface, the van looked great—very clean, freshly painted, and nothing about it immediately suggested there was a serious problem.

Their inspection told a completely different story. They found heavy corrosion underneath, signs consistent with the vehicle having been submerged/water damaged, heavily corroded seat rails, a leaking brake master cylinder, an A/C refrigerant leak, and other issues that I never would have discovered on my own.

I walked away from the purchase.

“I had an amazing experience working with this company.

I have a 2015 Subaru Crosstrek XV Hybrid that threw about five different warning lights all at once. I googled the lights and found that they were likely transmission lights, and to avoid driving the vehicle unless absolutely necessary to avoid further damage to the transmission.

The next morning, I brought it to the nearest mechanic I could find, which was Your Honest Mechanic in Easley.
These people (NOT Greenville Transmission Clinic!) quoted me $14,000 for a new transmission, and even tried to make it sound reasonable and tried to talk me into it. I declined, and decided to bring my Subaru to an actual transmission shop before making a final decision on what to do with the vehicle.

This brought me to Greenville Transmission Clinic, and I'm so thankful that they were the shop I ended up with.
The mechanics here told me that I needed a new valve body assembly for my transmission, and quoted a fraction of the price that Your Honest Mechanic gave me.

They got my Subaru back to me within four working days from when I dropped it off, which was impressive since they had to order the parts and do extensive work on my vehicle.
The people at Greenville Transmission Clinic were extremely pleasant and easy to work with, they answered all of my questions and were very patient with me. I really appreciate that they either answered my phone calls (which were many) or called me back if I left a message. They went out of their way to work around my schedule so I wasn't stranded without a vehicle, and gave me grace when I couldn't pick my vehicle up immediately after it was repaired.

My Subaru is now running like a dream, and I even have a very good warranty from Greenville Transmission Clinic that gives me great peace of mind.

My Subaru Forester front lower control arm needed replacement and the repair was scheduled and performed promptly. The cost was reasonable and slightly lower than AI estimates. Out of the JAS parking lot, my car drove like it did when leaving the dealership 100K miles earlier. Amazing!
