“Great store with a wide selection of quality items for your baby's nursery room. The store employees are very friendly and will answer any of your questions. We ordered a nursing chair and we had a problem with the amount of the discount provided, but Paul very quickly and professionally resolved this situation, which helped us a lot and completely erased the negative impression. We are very pleased with our purchase and the customer service provided. Highly recommend!”

“One of the last bookstores with new books in it. They have more toys and miscellaneous items since last time I was in a Barnes and Nobel but most related to novels. If you like coffee there is a Starbucks and plenty of seating.”

“Guys here were friendly and helpful. Had my order ready for pickup when I arrived which was important for me. I ordered online 20mins before closing and it said I couldn't pickup til the next day. Called the store and they were more than happy to pull it and let me grab it that night. May not seem like a big deal but I'm a trucker and usually my time is limited and I'm limited on where I can fit with a semi. I had to leave the area that night so this was the difference from having my Quest 3 now or possibly not for another few weeks or a month until I could get home to a regular vehicle.”

“I hate giving less than 5 stars, especially to independent establishments, as I maintain my own small business as well. But I feel it would be beneficial to you guys if I leave an honest review. I looked up "comic stores near me" & drove specifically to your store in hopes to speak to someone about comics I had, for help determining value, rarity etc. To network about d&d play, as my daughter has participated in a few campaigns. When Joe told me he no longer carried comics, I tried to further speak about the vast inventory before me, about what you did carry, inquiring about table top games, & had intentions of purchasing some minis for my kiddo to paint, & maybe some mtg cards. Joe, your answers to my conversing were pretty short, not very engaging, & the lackluster passion for your inventory did cause me to cut my visit short. I understand how tedious it might be to change the name of your store to remove comics from the title,...& Perhaps at a bit of a cost, but a comic/game/etc store is ? a destination store. People head there for a specific reason. No, I didn't think to inquire via calling to ask, "do you guys carry comics?" It's LITERALLY part of your name...that's misleading, you are doing your customers or any future customers a serious disservice & frustrating yourself by keeping it in the name. So our short interaction Joe, might have been due to you either having an off day, or you being frustrated because I immediately came inquiring about comics. But you wouldn't further the conversation when I completely understand & sympathized with you not carrying comics anymore, even commenting that maybe you felt sad about it. I attempted to redirect to what you did have.Change the name Joe. I really feel on the outside looking in, from my limited experience of your store that you are sabotaging yourself & the success of future business if you don't change the name, & engage more. Those of us inquiring about comics - you have a high chance of still making a decent sale with your current inventory because comic & rpg fans definitely intercept.I hope that you take my review to heart, as an honest take from one small biz owner to another, & keep succeeding. I love seeing people love what they do, & people having a place to vibe & thrive.With that said, next time I visit I'll probably have my teen in tow & she'll be giddy with excitement at all the mini figures & dice, etc that you carry.-MJ”

“I’ve been coming here for about six years now. My favorite comic book shop to go to in the Matthews area. The owner is actually pretty chill and laid back, if he appears “unfriendly” I wouldn’t blame the guy considering he runs a shop seemingly all by himself which in itself is impressive, but he also offers better customer service as a result, given he usually doesn’t have another associate to focus on more rather than customers inside the shop. Always asks me for help whenever I enter, and he will ship an out-of-stock book to the store for me. He also doesn’t disrespect me nor give me any pressure when shopping so it’s pretty chill. I prefer this place over heroes given that it seems more comfortable to shop in if you’re introverted and don’t like the atmosphere of the much larger shops.”
