“We were staying here for a few days for a wedding.
First, the location was great since we were only 5 minutes from the venue and only 15 minutes from the airport!
Second, all the staff was super friendly and wonderful! Really nice facility!
I do want to give a huge shoutout to Samara! She was in charge of the breakfast buffet and she was super friendly! She greeted everyone when they came down and was such a pleasant conversation. She really made our visit one to remember.
I am hoping to visit again next year and will be putting my focus to using this hotel again!”
“Where do I start this review?!? I have to start with being greeted by the doggy in the office. That was the absolute highlight of my stay...He was standing on his hind legs with his paws on the counter looking at us when we checked in. He even met us at the door with wags of tail when we went to check out. It was positively adorable. I wish I could give 1000 stars just for that. The service was great. The room was spacious, nice, and clean. The bed was comfy. We use to live in the area and since the building has been remodeled it looks much better than it did when we lived around the area. We will stay here again next time we are in town.”

“Every nice management and staff. Breakfast was ok. The room was clean. The only thing I had a problem with was the room door, there is a big gap between the door and the door frame. The gap was big enough to see the hallway at night. Other than that, our stay was great.”

“Mazing location, a little close to the freeway, but also nice for being able to get to almost anything in the area in 10 minutes or less. Breakfast has a great selections, and great quality, staff is amazing. loved the rooms, my only critique would be the bed sank in too much for my liking but was still comfy.”

“Only a block - 4, away from all the downtown restaurants and bars, and the Capital building. Clean large rooms and good breakfast. Lots of USB connections at bed side, desk, table.Rooms: Roomy about 20% larger than typical HIE rooms and bathrooms. Nice foyer area has decent refridge, microwave, and coffee area and for extra bags. Plenty of space to love around.Safety: Seemed out of way but next to court house, so usually see few police vehicles. Very quite area.Walkability: Only a block away to start all the downtown restaurants and bars. 4 blocks to the Capital building and USC visitor center.Food & drinks: Good hot breakfast: scrabled eggs, sausage, sausage n gravy/biscuits, pancakes, and other typical items. Has water by entrance for guests. Coffee and hot water in the libby.”

“My husband and I were driving back home and decided that Columbia would be our halfway point. I was very surprised with how clean and fresh the hotel was. The front staff, Byron, was very accommodating and kind. He had a great energy that kept us positive throughout our stay.Great location, clean room, and helpful staff!”
“This is an older place currently being updated so there are some rough edges. But the owner is very friendly and seems to have good plans for the place. My room was very clean. I walked barefoot on the hard-surfaced floors and my feet stayed clean. (You never can tell how clean carpeting is. I wish all motels had hard floors.) The WiFi was password protected and secure (unlike many motels) and was fast enough that I watched videos without a hiccup. I had a large bathroom with a large walkin-shower. I had hot water within one second of turning it on. The neighborhood is quiet with a complex of medical buildings behind.”

“Service gets 5 stars because is the reason I keep coming back to this hotel in the Vista area. Quay and Deshaun always provide you the best service during my stay. Quay is a rock star and definitely has a future in hotel management. I look forward to my next stay and hoping these two ladies are working the front desk.The rooms get 3 stars because I don’t they do a good job cleaning the rooms and even had sheets on my bed that wasn’t wash. Thanks to Quay she made sure I got cleaned sheets. The location is right next to a Publix and walking distance to restaurants the reason 4 stars.”

“Clarion Inn Columbia Airport Location is an amazing hotel. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean. This location has a wonderful complimentary breakfast, and wifi service. Security level is on point with cameras on every corner of the buildings. All staff is willing to help no matter what the need may be. The vending machines at the front office always has snacks and beverages. “From outside building doesn’t look expensive (not good, not bad) that was expected. So I was quite surprised that room is clean, has a full-size working desk, electrical outlets are all functional. Wifi is not super fast but very reliable. And check out time is 11, not 10am so no need to request late check out. For the cheapest price in the city I say it worth five star review.”

“This place is not as bad as some of these reviews are saying!! Some people obviously have had everything handed to them by there parents have never really Been to nor SEEN a bad hotel... it is an older building and there are some minor issues but by far is this a bad place to stay!! The owners/management are more that they also live there in the property in rooms similar to all the other rooms. If it were a bad as the reviews are saying I highly doubt they would do that. Over all for the price you cant beat it... it's a convenient location the people who have lived there for a while are some of the nicest people that will do anything to help you out they can, the man at the desk once you get to know him will help you in anyway he can! (Atvtge end of the day it Is his way of making money sobits business!)I love it there you will too if you weren't raised with a golden spoon in your mouth!!”

I was skeptical about staying here because of the reviews but the reviews are like 4 years old so I know they probably did an improvement since then. “Jalise Janet and Timothy were so kind and friendly. All in all great experience. Breakfast was always delicious and plenty of options. The place could defiantly use some updating you can tell it was build in the 90s but it is a very nice hotel. Was there on a business trip. We were in one of the conference rooms. The provided lunch was delicious both days. The cookies and brownies were warm and yummy. The happy hour with 2 free drinks were a nice end to each day. Easy to get around. The location is close to many great restaurants and activities. Worth the visit.”

“Overall, this is a great property! I am truly enjoying my stay here. The rooms are clean and well-kept, with upgraded cabinets in the kitchen. The service is fast, helpful, and always available. The location is unbeatable; there are numerous restaurants and shopping options within a mile, so you only have to decide what you want to eat, and it’s right at your fingertips.
The best part is the friendly staff. Maintenance addresses issues immediately and prioritizes them. The entire team, including the general manager, front desk, maintenance, and housekeeping staff, is incredibly friendly.
The grounds of the property are also very nice for a walk, with benches to sit on and enjoy the sunset or sunrise. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy some outdoor time. I have genuinely enjoyed my stay here, and I look forward to coming back again!
