This gas station used to be a Sunoco so I'm not sure when it turned into a Shell.

The surrounding community has quite a bit of history to it, and it's also been used as a political meeting point at some point across time, and it might still be. As far as the gas station, well, the gas was good and it lasted me a good little bit.

As far as the store is concerned, the store was very cool, and you can tell from the inside that they actually built around the original entrance, if that makes sense, cuz on the inside of the building you can see a piece of the wall that looks like an entrance to an old-timey general store. Unfortunately, most of the buildings actually closed off and listed as only accessible to employees, but there is plenty to look around on the outside as well!

For starters, right next to the gas pumps is an old building that probably was the original gas station per se, as it has some old looking gas pumps to it along with a store that looked like it was from a different era.

As far as the modern day store goes, they sell hot food, plenty of snacks and cold drinks, there are tables to sit on inside, And considering how there is a boat ramp for the river nearby, they also have fishing supplies as well!

If you're in the area on the way to Myrtle Beach, I would recommend you check this place out!”

“I stopped here with my daughter for a quick break and we were pleasantly surprised. It does not look like much on the outside, but I was immediately impressed when we stepped inside. The store was neat and orderly, and the station is clearly managed well. It is a good place to stop for a break, and they have more food options than I would have suspected.”
