“I first had them spray a bed liner on my truck in 2004. Over time some spots became exposed and I brought it to their attention recently. I took it down and showed it to them and the manager said they will definitely fix it. I expected some sort of patch job but he said no, I'm going to spray the whole thing. That was 22 years ago, they resprayed my entire bed today. I cannot believe it these people are great and actually honor their lifetime guarantee on their product. I will never buy any other kind of bed liner. I highly recommend them. They were very professional and quick. I'm just overjoyed!”

“I will say that it takes a lot to amaze me. Having said that, Ernie Russell at Race Automotive LLC and his technicians are amazing. I was passing through Lexington on July 3, 2026 when I had car issues on Highway number one. I googled Repair shops and Race Automotive came up. It was close to me. I was hoping that they would be open due to it being the day before a holiday and a Friday at 3:00 PM. When I pulled in, I noticed that the bay doors were open, but the front door was locked. I walked around to see if anyone could help me. I was told that they were closed for some maintenance work, but they would be happy to see if they could help. All the guys were in the back and the waiting area was locked. Ernie immediately opened up the waiting room for me and my daughter to wait while his technicians looked at our vehicle. The business was closed so therefore the waiting room AC was turned off so immediately he turned it on for me and my daughter.
My vehicle was scanned and within 30 minutes it was diagnosed and an estimate was prepared. I agreed to have the vehicle repaired and Ernie instructed me that it will be a minute because being that there are no drivers to deliver the parts needed for the repair at the parts store. Ernie sent the order through his computer, got in his personal vehicle, went and picked up the parts necessary for the repair. The technicians installed the parts and I was out of there within an hour. One would be hard-pressed to find a closed business, so willing and eager to take care of a new customer that is from out of town. Whenever I visit Lexington again I promise you I will stop in and bring those guys smiles and cupcakes. Top notch!”
“Came by to get my Jeep done this morning. My daughter had it for the weekend and it was pretty dang dirty! The woman at the drive up counter-such a beautiful light and funny! The gent on vacuum(vet-I’ve seen him here for years) super nice and quick as lightning. The team on outside/interior detail? So polite and paid attention to every nook and cranny. “Needed a small part for my battery. Batt is internal and when I replaced it I broke the L plastic that attaches to the battery exhaust hose. I went to two other part stores. One had some misc that we tried but nothing worked.
Passing by Parks in Lexington and thought I would try. they where verry helpful. They did not have any in stock either but did check the core returns for possible old left over. But still none. They suggested I try other parts store and check the core returns. I thanked them and headed to my car. Before I could leave the lady came out and said they found it. It was a kit and they would have it next day. Which they did.
I say they because it was 3 people that tag teamed the issue and helped. I apologize i don't remember their name anymore.
The total sale was only $7.06. Big profit. They are on the other side of the lake from me but will be my main go to for now on.”
“I have a 2008 Chevrolet HHR. The back housing for right turn signal melted over time from heat. I needed a new one they don't make them anymore. “After O’Reilly Auto Parts next door told me they couldn’t install my battery because of “liability,” but were happy to sell me one and send me somewhere else to have it installed, I walked into AutoZone hoping for a better answer.
Tommy laughed when I explained what happened, told me they could absolutely take care of it, and had a new battery installed in less than 10 minutes. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole process incredibly easy.
