Lidl provides high quality groceries at low prices. The store offers local produce, fresh meats and seafood, imported cheeses, European pastries, and weekly surprises. Their selection is always interesting, with delicious bakery goods and great pricing on kitchen essentials. Many items are surprisingly cheap, with good sales on food items. The generic quality of their food items surpasses standard American generic quality. However, some note that vegetables should be used soon after purchase as they are not as fresh as other stores, and the quality of other merchandise is not very good. The store operates on rotating stock, passing the savings directly to customers, helping those on a tight budget. Customers should note they need to bring their own bags.
By far the best grocery store in my area. The prices are are lower than any of the major chain grocery stores and the produce is always fresh, they have great deals and the staff is super friendly and helpful.
