“I recently moved across the country but still have a business in South Carolina. I needed to get my 2022 statements and was not banking online, so I didn’t have access to the statement electronically. After reaching out to customer care and fixing an e-mail issue that I didn’t even know I had, I was able to get the statements emailed to me very quickly. I’ve been banking with First Reliance for almost 20 years. I love banking with a local bank. You never seem to get lost in the crowd like you do with the large banks. Keep up the good work First Reliance.”
“Awesome team and assistance,Well here we are with the changes! Sufficient balance in the savings account with a minimum in the checking account. I have my savings linked to my checking in case I spend more in my checking. So now the rules are if I spend more in my checking than available they will pull from my savings to cover as agreed. However, now I get charged $5.00 for every transaction where my savings is covering my checking. Even when I transfer the money myself from savings to checking they charge me $5.00 to move my own money. I had called and spoken with the management about this and they said it is a federal law that only allows so many transfers per month! I have been an honest and positive customer of this credit union for approximately 14 years. I have recently transferred to another state and I continue to bank with SCFCU because they are such a great place! I recanted my earlier review from a low score to now a high score! The manager at SCFCU reached out to me and was very concerned that I had concerns about my banking experience. She explained that the banks hands were tied on the federal regulations and allowing only 4 transfers per month; she was also understanding and wish she could change the regulations. I appreciated her reaching out which is why I’m changing this review to a positive 5 star! I also wanted to say that I had forgotten what a great bank SCFCU is! I’ll stay with them for as long as they will service my needs!”

I had a credit card dispute with Chase and each of them respectively put their best foot forward in assisting in getting it resolved for me. “I moved all of my banking from SW Florida up here a couple of months ago and Mr. Michael Marks who is the manager at the Mount Pleasant branch located at the intersection of IOP and Highway 17 could not of been nicer! Michael has made everything flow very smoothly with getting all of my retirement benefits into their automatic deposit program into my checking account and my IRA transferred into a very competitiveness Merrill Lynch account! So whenever I ran into a glitch with using their new mobile app, he was always right there to answer all my questions and basically Took his Time to walk me through the process! I couldn't recommend Bank of America anymore highly based on the service I received from Michael Marks!”
