“I haven't stayed at Best Western in two decades. This one didnt disappoint. I called the night before and requested an early check in as my flight came in by 12 pm. Check in was at 4. I was told that it was a possibility for an early check in but it wasn't guaranteed. I was able to check in before 2 pm without no difficulty. The room was spacious n comfy. The bathroom was huge. Everything was clean. Breakfast was a 10 with numerous options of food. What I loved was the coffee machine..... the numerous choices it had was amazing. My mom n I were very impressed. The hotel was accessible to all the close attractions. The staff was friendly n helpful. I'm glad I chose this location. If I'm ever in the area again, I would definitely stay here :)”

“Great location right on the beach! Rooms were average and seem outdated but the bar, pools, vibe and drinks were excellent. Can't. Beat the location as well! Easy parking”

“Literally a sweet spot! Room was perfect for our family of 4! Clean, comfy and great view. Staff was amazing!!! Pools were clean, warm and alot of fun. Cabana bar was super cute and yummy! Beach was so nice! Volleyball court was my kids favourite and the inside pool at night they loved! It was so close ”

“The only complaint I could have was the beds were a little hard. Yes I'm goldilocks and I own a sleep number so mattresses are so hard to please me. The shower curtain was dirty. The room in general was spacious, clean and gorgeous! We had an ocean view and it was great just sitting on the balcony.”

“Very clean and close to everything. We needed extra towels and blankets and they arrived within 10 minutes.

Rooms: Very clean and the pullout couch slept very well!

“Love this Hotel.Brittany was awesome to help me with my room. Honestly each staff member was good.We would ask somewhere to eat local they actually gave you their attention and talk to you not like other hotels. Management helping with my husband back problems for the bed made him enjoy our trip.Location is great but what really makes a great stay is this Wonderful staff.So thanks to all the staff.My husband already wants to come back next year....Thanks Roxanne Tower”

“We stayed here Labor Day 2024 weekend, the room was well appointed and clean. The staff that we encountered at check-in, breakfast, and coconut Charlie’s were all fabulous! The valet service was worth every penny, it’s a great service to make your clientele feel important and save time! Our kids enjoyed the pool and the ocean just a few yards away!

The only issue we had was with breakfast. And there was just too many people for the size space that the hotel had alloted for seating. The food was wonderful, and the staff was as well. However, we were left standing and sitting in the hallway for breakfast at 8 AM.”

“Excellent hotel, Stayed 3 nights and enjoyed every night. The room was everything absolutely nice and beds so cozy we didn’t want to get up out of them. The office manager Maggie was the absolute best, she checked on us and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed and more. We will be staying again when we come back next month.”

“We stayed here this last week, and it was wonderful. We had a corner 2 bedroom condo with a full kitchen. The rental was perfect for our family of 5, and the condo was very clean. We also loved the pool area too. The only feedback I would offer would be:
- more trash bags/coffee in the room since we were there a week.
- a broom or vacuum in the room to help with the sand
We hope to be back in the future.”

“The hotel is in the perfect location for restaurants and shopping. Staff are very nice, especially the front desk person, Daquan, who was very professional and helpful. Although not directly on the ocean, it has great ocean views from the balcony. I highly recommend this hotel. Book on their website, great prices.”

“Went to see a luau at this inn. What an experience. Food was delicious minus the dessert. Everyone said the fish was outstanding.

Reason went was the fire dancing. Worth every penny. What an experience. Love how they grab people from the audience to enjoy them on stage.

When they started with stories from diffrent countries. The fire dancing is just mouth dropping. Amazing how they can do that without dropping it.

Also, love the option take get photo taken at the end with them too. Great way interact with audience”

“I have been sub contracted for this building a few times now, and the staff is absolutely so kind! The rooms are all so different from one another so no stay is the same. With 2 buildings they have a great view of the ocean and surrounding areas and ample parking for everyone. The staff is on hand at the resort and have great security as well. The pools are kept beautifully and the club house area and work out area is in great condition. They have handicap access and codes for the doors so there's no risk of strangers walking in. With such a beautiful area you're bound to have the best stay in our beautiful town! The owners are just the most kind souls!”

“Room/ Apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Downfall, the balcony was prohibited because of the railings were not safe apparently. View from the room was amazing.Nearby activities: The bar/restaurant "twisted" was nothing great, but the other bars and restaurants nearby were great.”

“I stayed here late September and just realized I didn't do a review for Google , but I did do one for VRBO which is who I rented through. I rented V207B , a studio in the Villas across the street. I stayed here because I was looking at buying one of these in the future , but the 1 bedroom in either this building or Villas 2 , not the main building. I really liked staying here a lot. The main building has lots of stuff you can use too while staying here. The pool that goes inside and out is heated and I really liked that one. I did use the lazy river in front of the villa one day , it's small but nice to float around in.

The day I was checking out the Shriner's had a parade and I was able to watch part of it from the balcony till I had to leave and watched the rest from the street. It was a 2 hour long parade ! The place was clean and I didn't see one bug. It is also convenient to get to the back parking lot from Kings Hwy you just go down 20th Ave South. Some may not like this older area , but I didn't have any problems. The beach is a short walk across the street. The NY Pizza inside the main building was very good and has a bar also.

I also used the dry sauna one day. Their is also a small convenience store within walking distance. I stayed here 2 nights and 3 nights in a nice condo in Cherry Grove. Even though the one in Cherry Grove was newer and larger , I liked staying here better and I slept better in this bed which was softer which most people like a firmer bed , but not me. I want to buy one of these with a view of the park across the street and the ocean in about 3 years. Only thing I wish they had included 1 or 2 Keurig coffee pods.

I read some bad reviews of some of the condos in the main building , but again these are individually owned not a regular hotel , so depending on the owner the maintenance of the unit , furniture , cleanliness if done by owner or an outside company will vary. I wouldn't rent any place that is through Elliot Realty due to their high cleaning fees and other charges and I've read so many complaints about their places they manage. It's a shame because when I was a kid we used them back in the 70's and 80's for our beach houses we rented in Cherry Grove.”

“When in Myrtle Beach this has been my go to place for years. The front desk ladies are so pleasant and friendly. Don't judge a book by the cover it's not the fanciest place, but it is peaceful and I like the rooms very much. They have coffee pots.. refrigerators, and microwave's which is perfect because instead of eating out I just go to the grocery store and get stuff to cook in the room.

Rooms: Windsurfer also owns this location..if nobody is in the office at The Admiral Inn just go to the Windsurfer to check in.

Nearby activities: Family Kingdom..Peaches Corner is close..I haven't been on the boulevard in years so I'm not sure what else is close.”

“Ocean view room in the satellite wing. Elevator broke and it took all day to get our towels. As a matter of fact, we still don’t have our towels. We went to the office to pick up towels across the street at the main office and he said he would send someone right over. No towels…”

“Room 509 in the tall building, not the check in building
This place is not bad but it is definitely a value condo complex. Do not come here if security is a high priority. None of the doors that we were supposed to need keycards for actually locked any of the times we came through them. I'm thankful for my view on the balcony and the very easy walk out to the beach. Just know early in the morning you will be woken up with slamming doors but I understand they can't control the guests.
We were told there was a parking lot but at check-in they told us to use the garage. It is only feasible for smaller SUVs and cars. We did see a truck make it but he was having to make really tight three-point term maneuvers to make the corners. Using the garage was convenient with a Subaru Outback back and we found a spot on the floor with our condo.
The pictures online look nice but as with anything you can tell they are edited once you get here. It's definitely a little more dated than the pictures show.
There is an ice cream truck that pulls into the parking lot if that interests you. One side of the building has an actual outdoor shower coming off the beach. On the other side, you just have to use a water hose which is still appreciated to get the sand off your feet.
Now for our unit itself. We were able to choose our exact unit by renting through Airbnb. If you were driving, bring a box fan because there was no fan in the bedroom and the vent for the bedroom is half the size of the vents in the other rooms and there is no air flow in there. There's a good five or six degree temperature difference. There's nowhere to set your luggage unless you use the desk/vanity. There are a few plugs with USB plugs as well. The kitchen is adequately stocked. There is no cutting board but there does seem to be good knives and plates, utensils, etc. There is no ice maker in the refrigerator freezer so you will have to use the condos ice maker. I have not checked that out yet, but it's on the second floor according to signage.
Would I stay here again? No, I like a little bit nicer accommodations but this particular unit got great reviews and I was trying to save money on a rather expensive medical trip.
If you are looking for a quality budget condo, this will fit your needs perfectly.”

“Great place, friendly environment, and these people here treat you as if your family I mean the food is actually at the restaurant. There’s no better place than the El Dorado right here on the ocean it’s just an amazing place and the bar the restaurant awesome and very convenient very clean place, beds were nice and clean sheets and the beds were made tight fit I mean I was trying to look for a problem, but lol couldn’t find one.. I highly recommend this place!!!?”

“This was my first time at this establishment. They were going through some renovations at the time which was inconvenient but understandable. The people at the front desk were always very friendly and helpful. The room we had was one of the nicest I've ever had and the view of the ocean was awesome. Housekeeping was always on top of things. The location of this hotel has beach access which was awesome. The parking ramp was well lit. We had free cookies and bottled water at check in. I would definitely recommend and would stay again.”
