“I very much enjoyed talking to the owner during my visit here you can tell it has a family atmosphere and then take pride in that even though they were unsuccessful at being able to help me with the key I was trying to have made, I thoroughly enjoyed the customer service.”

“Bought a new Frigidaire Gallery over the range microwave on sale for a decent price. The last one lasted 25 years. Will have it installed next week. The salesperson looked for the 3 units that were supposed to be in stock, but she came back out and told us there were none. After about a half hour of calling other locations, another employee found the units, so we were able to take the microwave home.”

“Needed a new keyfob sync'ed with the car. A competitor that rhymes with trixie quoted 3-5x the amount AAA charged and said they would charge me even if it didn't work. AAA was great and should be anyone's first choice for a locksmith in the CSRA.”

“I would like to give Houston, the store manager, a special thank you. This is a man who leads by example. Any business owner would kill for this type of representation! After a day of mediocre customer service, he was a breath of fresh air!”

“Ive even surprised myself, that doing business with Richmond Supply is well worth taking the time to write a review about it. And it can be put quite simply. It reminds me of when I was a kid, running around with my Grandpa, to the local Hardware store (complete with wooden floor, 10cent coke machine, and an old jail in the back). Now although ive only done business over the net with Richmond Supply, you might wonder how these two scenarios relate. The answer is HOSPITALITY and SIMPLICITY. No matter where you do business on this big blue marble we call home, its when you are treated right, and straight, that you really feel at home. I wish Richmond Supply lots of success, as I will definitely keep my business there.”

“This is a very old school hardware store and they somehow know exactly where everything is and how much it costs. It reminds me of the small town hardware store of my youth. My mom used to call this a “blivit”; 100 lbs of stuff in a 50lb sack. Hats off to them though, they were very kind and personable and directed me quickly to the isle and section I needed. The old guy knows everything about everything hardware. You’ll never get that brain at a big box store!”

“Great place to stock up on supplies while supporting local business. Well stocked and reasonable pricing. We purchased a cleaning cart, new commercial vacuum, and stocked the cart with cleaning supplies. Could not be happier with the service and quality of supplies.”

“I'm an over the road truck driver, who delivered a load to this company and had a very pleasant experience. Driver's complain about delivering loads and having to wait, I arrived and was greeted with courtesy and respect. The place is a little tight backing in but once you get backed in, they unload you in a timely manner. They made waiting bearable. I would deliver to them again. Thank you for making me comfortable while I waited.”

“5-stars ain’t enough for these guys! They helped me solve a problem finding a cap for drain pipe of an unknown size that I had rigged up to carry fishing rods on the top of my car. It didn’t matter to them that they knew they were maybe only getting $12 off the sale, it was more important to them that I was taken care of. They demonstrated that they cared more about customer service than making a big sale. Highly recommend.”

“i went to purchase a carving kit, and after days of researching i was still kinda on the fence about which set would be best (durability, kinds of tips, and price) and i settled on gordon’s. anyways, i come to the front and im greeted by Anne who is very sweet, and actually unprompted tells me how good of a choice i made and asked what i was planning to use it for. and i explained it’s for my boyfriend to start wood carving, and she just reassures me that i’ve made a great choice and that he’ll love it. it may not seem like a big deal but she really seemed so genuine and interested it truly made me feel more confident in my choice. we need more people like Anne :)”

“Wayne from piping did a phenomenal job assisting me today. I went to Lowe's this morning and did not get the things that I needed or any help. I decided to come to Home Depot and not only did I find all the supplies that I needed but this incredible gentleman help me from start to finish and completely understood my vision for industrial shelves. He went out of his way to take time, considering my desires, and making them happen from start to finish. He help me find everything I needed, as well as cut my material and re-threaded some pipe to fit. It also doesn't hurt that he was great at making me laugh. In a world where most employees are just skirting by to make hourly, Wayne was a complete breath of fresh air, and a reminder that they are still great men out there that want to help and provide their skills with pride.”
