Mall Mart is probably the most active indoor mall in South Carolina. It is a great place to shop and eat, with lots of great stores including JCPenney, Belk, Burlington, and Dillard's. Shoppers can find great items at great prices and many great deals on major brands. The mall has a food court with a decent selection of restaurants, including a recommended seafood restaurant and Philly steak place. It is a clean, relaxing, and fun hang-out spot where people enjoy walking around. Shopping seems safe and it is a fun place to visit during the holidays. However, the mall is not what it used to be. It is not very convenient to get to depending on where in Charleston you live, and some do not recommend going at night. There can be issues, like a weird chemical smell or misleading price signs in stores that need reevaluation. The public bathroom in the Food Court is noted as an exception to the cleanliness. Police cars are often noticed in front of the Food Court, probably because the kids can be rowdy, but it is still considered a safe and enjoyable place to rewind and do some window shopping.

The mall is not what it used to be But it is still clean and fun to walk around and shopping seems safe and i enjoy the holidays at the mall at this time of year
