My 4 Yorkies normally go a private groomer but she recently had surgery so I've been taking them to Petsmart. They had an appointment today but they were short a groomer and asked if I could reschedule so I called to see if Petco could fit them in. They said yes and I took them in at 1:15.
When I take them into PetSmart they typically get all 4 in and out in 2 to 2 and 1/2 hours.
I didn't walk out of Petco with my Yorkies until 6:22. Over 5 hours.
To make things a million times worse, the manager was RUDE and when I finally got them and they handed me my bill, I almost PASSED OUT. For 4 full grooms at PetSmart they charge me around $240.00 depending on what package I get and keep in mind, that's for 4 FULL GROOMS.
Today, only two of my Yorkies needed a full groom. The other two only needed a bath and nail trim. The total with the same customary 20% tip? $380.00!!!!!!
How on EARTH can they justify charging that much for two grooms and two baths??? I will NEVER set foot in that place again. Who can AFFORD that??? They just lost a customer for LIFE.

However, in those five minutes, Katrina made such a wonderful impression that I felt compelled to acknowledge the wonderful service! I had placed the order the night before but Katrina must have been working then too, as she remembered my order and apologized that they were out of stock of a few items. The level of care she took in just that small interaction indicates to me that she truly takes pride in her job, or at the very least in Customer Service. Katrina- if you see this, you are a gem! Thank you for brightening my day!

I have a really hard time trimming her nails myself, but they did a great job. They were so gentle with her, and to top it off, she came home with an adorable bandana and smelled amazing. Dana taught us how to have control with our 55lbs pups. With only 5 visits we can now walk with them , they sit on command, they will do down ( lay down), and stay . Before their training it was complete Chaos in our home and not fun at all!! Now we have soMuch fun with them! Dana is highly recommended, she is truly the very best around!!

I also tried the Iced Cookie Butter Blondie with caramel drizzle & cold foam and honestly it wasn’t for me, 3/10. It tasted a little too bitter and I expected way more cookie butter flavor.
Service was quick and easy, and I’d definitely come back for the Banana Bread Blondie!

What really made our visit special was how warm and welcoming everyone was. The people were genuinely friendly, kind, and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in.
It’s always special to find a place with wonderful food and even more wonderful people. We left with full hearts and happy tummies, and we’ll definitely be coming back. ☀🥞❤

2203 Hwy 17 South, North Myrtle BeachWe first came here on our 2024 vaca to NMB to watch the first Steelers game of the season. Honestly we were not expecting to find what we did. We assumed it’d be a regular bar with sports on tv and mediocre food. We ordered some hot wings, began eating them and immediately ordered more 🤣 They were the best wings we’ve had in years!
We just got back from another trip to NMB and once again stopped in to Calhoon’s -no Steeler game this time, we were just there for the amazing food! We ordered wings (obviously-they’re generously sized, saucy and perfectly crispy), chicken nachos and provolone sticks. Everything was once again perfect! Our server Santiago was super friendly, even when I had a mishap and spilled my Coke onto the floor. I tried cleaning it as good as I could but he immediately came over concerned not about the party foul but to make sure we didn’t slip on it.
We will continue to visit Calhoon’s whenever in North Myrtle. Thanks again for a great time!

Noire is the ONLY salon open today, was close to our resort, I walked in and they sat me down immediately and fixed the nail in 5 minutes! I'm SO delighted and thankful! Even better is that the owner didn't even charge me. A+++ salon!

1500 LD Dr, North Myrtle BeachWe got our beautiful sweet dog here. If you can, donate. The fact that anyone would leave anything but five stars is really upsetting. This is not an organization that has a limitless budget. They are genuinely just trying to keep little fur babies from getting put down, if you adopt your dog and it turns out the dog has some fleas or something else going on you can go ahead and fix those problems and be the miracle to that dog or cat. Shame on anyone complaining about the people who work here or how they care for the animals. They are doing the best that they can with very little funding and if you have any spare dog food or blankets, please bring them by they could be put to good use.
