5850 Ocean Hwy W #1, Ocean Isle BeachWhile on vacation in SC, we ventured up to NC to visit Sunset Beach and Kindred Spirits mailbox. Being a beer lover, and extremely thirsty, we stopped in. Great selection and the taproom was very inviting. I started light with the kolsch, then just had to get a juicy NEIPA. Glad I did, it was really good! The staff was great, we chatted a bit about the Buckeye state and the beers. Kid and dog friendly, plus you can bring in your own food (we went to deli next door). Great place, great beer!

We ate before the dinner rush and the food came pretty quickly. They had kids' programming on one TV, which took a lot of attention away from the table in our case. Would have preferred not to have that but it could be helpful for some parties, I would guess. We accidentally pulled into the parking for the restaurant just before this one and had to turn around and find the right parking. Getting in and out into traffic can be a bit of a chore, depending on which way you're going. Watch out for golf carts in regular vehicle traffic. Overall, cute local place with seafood and a kids menu.
