“If you're traveling this stretch of 321, definitely stop. The food is freshly made (biscuits are amazing). The nicest ladies work there. We were towing a camper and there's plenty of room to park a rig.”
“This is a tiny town with a glimmer of a time gone by. I like the old downtown buildings, unfortunately I believe they are now all empty but the old store buildings are historically interesting. The few homes along the rail road tracks are historical gems. This little town appears to be dieing, as are most small towns in the U.S. (people go to cities for employment opportunities). Pictures were taken at one location. Olar has done a nice green space with one of the original police cars on display 24hrs./7 days a week. The car is housed in a small, brick building that has 4 walls entirely of glass so the car is easy to \\\"study\\\" at one's leisure. There is a historical marker telling about the family who founded Olar. We stopped for gas at the Tiger Express, gas was priced a little low, there was a good selection of snacks and drinks \\u0026 the employee was very nice.”
