“What am unexpected bright spot!I recently moved back to the Anderson area and have passed by here a couple of times, always taking note of the sign outside. Your first impression is that it's a country store, like many others, but the note on the sign stating that they also have a Bluegrass evening every Saturday night really stands out.As the sign appears to be very old, I wasn't sure if it was still a thing or just left up for nostalgic reasons - so, I decided to head over to check it out last night and Wow!! ?Not only was it still very much a thing, but it didn't have anything at all to do with a country store! ? The exact opposite as a matter of fact!It was an entire evening of great fun, awesome music and wonderful southern hospitality ?Being a first time visitor, I was given a complete tour and introduction to it all by the owner.I left sometime after 10 with a couple of flyers and cards in my pocket and a plan to begin taking lessons (instrument has yet to be decided, though I feel a certain draw towards the banjo ?).A truly great experience and further evidence to always trust your intuition/curiosity - you never know where it might lead!”
