“Their fresh glazed donuts are the best I’ve ever had. We got four and they were hot and light and they were sitting in a small pool of delicious glaze. Also the cheese grits. The oyster poboy mostly tasted like breading though the bun was good. It’s a pretty place but mostly jars of jam and preserves and some frozen breads and tomato pies. Broccoli salad also unusually crisp and fresh tasting.”

“This is a delightful neighborhood spot that is so much better than your average gas station and convenience store. We were visiting Beaufort and needed to pick up snacks, drinks, and a spare toothbrush and stumbled on the Beaufort General Store. It has a great selection of beer, wine, liquor, snacks, and sundries, and it's within walking distance of downtown Beaufort. Plus the owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend checking out this spot instead of one of the major chain gas stations or convenience stores.”

“Sub line was CRAZY BUSY during Christmas week. Compared to otjer Publix's, the store has no "flow". Apparently, it's a new store and though they have nice veg, meat, deli, etc., I found myself walking in circles looking for things. The staff was busy, but helpful.I just wish the layout was more uniform to most other stores.”

“Hooray for this Walmart Supercenter that tolerates overnight RV parking in their lot. The other one in town apparently does not so I was here for two nights as I explored Beaufort. Inside the store, it seemed to be in good shape with the items I needed being in stock. The restroom was clean and while there weren't any regular checkouts open, the self-checkout did not have a queue. [Review 19470 overall - 1043 in South Carolina - 440 of 2023.]”

“This particular store was well stocked. The store was clean & what I really liked was when the one register was being used and a line was forming another employee immediately opened up a second one. If only that one register had been open l guess l would have been in line maybe 20- 25 minutes. Good job of 2nd employee to open up the register when they saw the need without being told. “The Food Lion in Beaufort is great! They were so well stocked with everything. The Freezer sections were full to capacity of all brands of Pizzas, Ice Creams especially Turkey Hill varieties & Turkey Hill Beverage Selections, etc.. We live in Bluffton & frequent the location outside of Sun City. They are frequently out of many items. We complain & they have said they can't get it due to supply chain issues. How does Beaufort get it?”
