“Well this is a unique banking experience. Situated in downtown Greenville, this branch of BOTR is located in an older building, perhaps the original building for this branch. The layout is unlike any bank I've been to in the past, with each teller having an office that you sit down and conduct business in. Up front, there's a spacious and comfortable waiting area. All your banking services are available and there's parking right next door reserved for the bank. With BOTR itself, so far, so good. But this is a neat experience at this branch.”

“I have been at Southern First (Augusta road branch) for at least 5 years I believe now and the banking experience is amazing and unlike I would have ever thought it could be. I came over after an unsatisfactory banking experience with a big national bank and Southern First is nothing but helpful, kind, professional, efficient, trustworthy and honest. Everyone who works there seems to love their job and they have certainly earned my trust over the years. “Absolutely loved the experience I had with this bank! I recently helped my dad set up how new bank account after moving and the staff here made our visit so pleasant. We were Instantly greeted by the teller who directed us to a service representative. The service rep was so friendly, answered all of the questions my father had for her, and made sure she covered all bases as far as what they have to offer. Once we were all set we headed off back home to handle business! Few hours laters we needed to come back to get a letter from the bank with a letterhead and a signature and what would have usually taken hours to receive from another bank it only took us 2 minutes, if that! They are very attentive at this bank and truly go above and beyond for their members! Nothing but great things to say!”

They go through drive-through tellers like water never hardly ever get the same one more than a few times so they don’t get to know their customers and a couple of them now have just been downright rude; there’s better and friendlier banks in townFollow-up: This review was followed up by Mr. Carpenter who has always been an excellent businessman and was with the original bank, Independence National... thank you for your follow-up Schaefer....
