“I would like to let everyone know that shops here, the cashier named Jay is THE best cashier i’ve ever encountered. In my 57 years, i have come across many of cashier. He knows when conversation is necessary and always has the most polite mannerisms. He is the fastest scanner this side of the state. His blue uniform may make you think he’s a normal worker, but he truly deserves a gold one to represent how much of an asset he is to this food lion.I really love this guy. “Probably the best organized DG in town (out of 4)... At least you aren't running into stock crates and rolling carts on every aisle... And the cashiers don't ignore you here. I can usually find what I need without a hassle. Most DGs are a hot mess with empty shelves and stock everywhere, blocking aisles... This one has some but not overwhelming. Staff is helpful too.”

“For being in the middle of nowhere it has enough stuff that you may need while visiting the lake. It’s that type of place to find random stuff that you may simply need. You are not going to find healthy gluten free options here”
