“My son was interested in learning about what an archive was and did so I called up and asked if we could come in. They said sure, and proceeded to show it's around the whole place. Let us put on gloves and look at the rare books and the cuneiform tablets that they have. Really have is the full experience. It was amazing! It's so much fun to encounter folks who are clearly so passionate about what they do. I will absolutely find a reason to go back.”
“My daughter and I are participating in the Greater Charlotte Book Crawl, and we’re truly enjoying the experience so far. This review is based on the location, availability, and most importantly the staff. For us, great staff can absolutely make or break a place.
This bookstore is truly unique, there’s so much to see and so many options to explore. What we loved most, though, was the sense of nostalgia and the passion behind the space.
There was a welcoming woman working there (possibly the owner we’re not sure), and she made the experience even more special. She took the time to explain where everything was, offered helpful suggestions, and genuinely thanked us for participating in the book crawl.
We truly enjoyed this place and will definitely be coming back.”
“It's a nice size,well organized & clean there are lots of items to choose from. most college campus stores can be pricey,this one is no different,it just dependson what your looking for.. I'd prefer embroidered tops vs. The screenprinted, for the money the last longer and look nicer after washing bit there weren't many or those to be found. Was looking for snapback hats but alot are fitted or the pull closure. The customer service was super friendly & helpful, that always makes the experience a little nicer as well...”

“We are visiting from out of state, and I needed a book fix. Every employee we came across was so friendly and polite. While the store didn’t have the particular books I was looking for in stock, they did have a massive selection. Our BAM back home also does not have a coffee shop, so that was a wonderful surprise! Our coffee was delicious!”

“My family and I love this book store! The house it is in is so fun and there are tons of fun things to find among the book shelves. We never leave without finding an armful of good books. The ladies are amazing and always helpful. We love the mix of new and used books.”
