“You get off the Interstate for lunch -- Bistro 212. Then you stop in Week's, a local institution dating from the 1940s. It's a step back in time -- hats and boots and tuxes and jackets and almost anything you'd need to get married, buried or be in the wedding or funeral party in Dorchester County. The charming third generation couple running it are a plus, the prices fair to downright bargains, although there are shirts, etc. unmarked, so you'll have to ask about some times. Maybe as you're paying, ask for suggestions about what else there is to see in this sleepy little burg. The Indian Fields Campground (wiki it) was the first thing out of Mr. Weeks' mouth, and he did not oversell it. It's unlike most any Christian retreat (permanent primitive huts as "tents" for annual gatherings, etc. Horror movie spooky when empty.”
