Seneca Animal Hospital
104 Return Church Rd, SenecaAlways friendly and helpful when it comes to my boys Roscoe and Sob. They always listen to all of my concerns and show my pups so much love, and extremely understanding when it comes to Sob and his anxiety. Even helped with my rescued pigeon Larry and his girlfriend Lucille. Didn't make me feel dumb for bringing them in thinking something was wrong with Lucille and it was actually normal. Helped me better understand so I wouldn't panic in the future.

Crossroads Animal Hospital - Kathy Jordan DVM
8409 W Oak Hwy, SenecaI found an injured stray on 5/6/24. Called around to see who could see her for her injuries within my budget, as this was a very unexpected situation. The staff was understanding and were able to see me within 30minutes of that call! When I walked in we were greeted and welcomed, I was in a room and had seen the vet very shortly and was out the door with a treatment plan and meds very timely and not too much over what I had expected to pay. The vet came in and explained everything and made sure to check with me on pricing before anything was done, very pleased and will be back in the future. Thank you so much!

Keowee Brewing Company
401 E Main St, SenecaMy girlfriend and I are from out of town and went to visit with some friends in the area, also bringing our furry companions along with us. We get to the establishment and we felt right at home with the way the staff made us feel right away and the personalized experience that bartenders Jacob and Rebekah tailored to everyone there. The refreshing assortment of beer and food was OUTSTANDING for a brewery which had wraps, flatbreads, burgers, salads and an assortment of hearty appetizers! It’s enough to say we stayed almost all day watching the game and enjoying some well deserved relaxation inside and outside. Dogs were extremely pleased! Will be back!

The Donut Wagon Shoppe
15546 Wells Hwy, SenecaSometime you gotta make the turn... We were driving back to the house and saw a little corregated yard sign that said donuts to the left. We turned left. The donuts were huge and delicious which justified the price. I had the maple bacon which was the perfect mix of salty and sweet. Good maple flavor... and .. wait for it... BACON! I didn't think I could finish it... But I powered through. Well worth the calories expended to make the left turn

3 Generaciones Mexican restaurant
685 By Pass #123, SenecaThis was an unexpected find. I was at the hospital visiting my mom and saw a man delivering food. He had a delicious looking red drink. I asked him about it and he said it was hibiscus. I asked him where I could find it and he said at his family’s restaurant. And he told me how to get there. It was AMAZING. I had the quesabirria and I’m in love. One of the best Mexican meals I’ve ever heard. The hibiscus drink was as divine as it looked and so was their homemade horchata! I cannot recommend this place enough! ❤️

The Spot on the Alley
122 Ram Cat Alley, SenecaAs a wife of an engineer in the Nuclear Power industry I know first hand what it's like to live in a hotel for months on end. Many of his crew works night shift and Jim has been there himself. You get off work at 4 or 5 am and nothing is open. You can't shut your stomach off so you're left with gas station or vending machine food. Very small refrigerators in the hotel rooms so you can't stock up on much other than some deli meat and cheese. Yesterday while visiting my husband on the road, we stopped at one of our favorite places in Seneca The Spot on the Alley. They were closed, or so we thought. Just as we turned to walk away from the locked door a man came and unlocked it. He let us in and explained they were just finishing up a few renovations. He kept apologizing and if we didn't mind them cleaning up they could serve us shortly. He said they were running odd hours due to the outage and decided to get a few things done in between the busy hours. I told him we just wanted to get an appetizer as we already had dinner plans but we were hungry and it would be a few hours before we were able to eat. He served us a big bowl of queso and fresh chips. I ordered a drink from the bar and we sat and talked quietly watching them work to get things put away. So the man came back and handed us a menu and invited us to come back the next morning. Come to find out they open early for the outage workers. The Spot on the Alley opens at 5 am during outage season for night shift to be able to get something hot to eat after a long night of hardwork. I just have to mention how nice I think it is. The man did tell me he only purchased The Spot on the Alley a few months prior. We have so much respect for these little towns who host hundreds of Plant workers a few months out of the year. Not to many businesses take into account the shifts these men and women work and their sacrifices and the odd shifts often times put their good health into question. So thank you for opening early for night shift. Don't know who will see it but here's the menu.
