Food Lion helped me without me asking just did it. She is amazing and deserves a massive raise. We love Francis The other employees were very kind as well”

“What an unbelievable (positive) experience!!! My order came to $10.83. I gave the checker $11.00. She thought I had given her $10.00. Rather than ask me for an additional $1.00, she pulled out a dollar bill from her OWN pocket. I corrected her and asked for a recount. She then saw that I had given her more than the full amount. I was speechless….this young woman was going to give me money from her own pocket! Wow……Talk about incredible customer service. I was thrilled that the manager allowed me to give her a “tip” for her kindness.”

“Cheapest gas most of the time compared to any other gas station in manning usually by 10 cents or more. Good selection of drinks and snacks. Lottery tickets and cigarettes and beer too. Smaller store with smaller prices and Yes they are 1 of the few stores who except EBT.”

“Several years ago when a hurricane hit Manning, Walmart and Piggly Wiggley both shut down due to no electricity. Both stores did not open until power was restored. The Manning IGA opened, despite not having any power. People went shopping with flashlights provided by the store.IGA served their customers the right way and not the most convenient way.”

“I go into this store everyday or every other day! I can say ( my opinion )...This new store manager ( Russell) has really cleaned up the place ( turned it completely around from what it did look like)! Everytime I go in to the store ..he ( manager)..is always working hard and he has great customer service ( mark that as a plus) cos not too many employees now a days is polite or knows what customer service is....he has a great crew also ( not like before)..u can really tell the difference in this store by how they treat u, than other stores I go in! I always say...it starts with a manager and works its way down! Anyone looking a good DG to go in..this is the store! Shelves is fronted..No trash on the floor ( like it was before), and most likely the products will be in stock..unless vendors don't have it ( not the stores fault), most of all its a friendly environment! “Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The store was quite clean and offered an extensive variety of different items! The prices are fair and the hours of operation are ideal. The reason I left 4 stars and not 5 is due to the fact that waiting to check out took a minimum of 10-20 minutes every time. I would recommend this store to anyone who is not in a hurry.”

“Although they run out of daily items, like milk and eggs, it's an okay store. A couple of times they opened later than 8am, the last being fifteen minutes late, but it's the only place in town to get groceries so will deal with it. Employees are very nice.”
