Lowes Foods of Summerville is a very nice and beautifully lit grocery store with a stunning selection. It offers many items not found elsewhere, including a huge variety of locally crafted beer for making your own six-pack. The meat department is excellent, featuring cut-to-order dry aged steaks, choice cuts, homemade brats, and good sausage. The store also has a great hot bar with fried chicken and sides, plus a panini, pizza, and sub stand. There is a much bigger selection for coffee and tea than other places. While some items can be a bit pricey, the overall experience is wonderful and inviting.
